I arrived in the evening and had to leave by 4am in the morning for an early flight. At first, I was a bit disappointed by the distance from the airport (~30 minute car ride). I wanted to get a decent hotel room right near to the airport, and this was further than I intended, which meant that I had to get up much earlier to make my flight.
However, I thoroughly enjoyed the room, room service, personal balcony, the sounds of the nearby ocean waves, and the spectacular view.
I stayed here one night, but I wished I had more time to explore the other amenities, and actually check out the beach!

Very comfortable hotel close to Bridgetown, with good facilities. Superb for seclusion out of season, but could feel crowded when busy. Suited us really well for the first visit to Barbados for one of us. Take the executive room and the use of the executive suite is well worth it! Loads of sights and activities, but it is best to hire a car o make the best of them. If you like jazz, get down to the Waterfront in Bridgetown on a Thursday evening - fantastic! If you like fish get to the Fish Fry at Oistins -Friday night is party night. If you like swimming with turtles, take a catamaran cruise on Stiletto.
Our stay at Angler Apartments met our needs to a tee. We wanted a self-sufficient, convenient location that had a restaurant to suit our dietary needs. Chandra, the owner, provided us with everything we asked for and was a good source of information. Angler Apartments is not a high end hotel but we were not paying high end prices. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wishes to be independent and explore the island. By the way, the beach that Angler has access to is beautiful.

Excellent situation if you enjoy peace and quiet and being able to sit and watch the ocean.sandy swimming beaches restaurants etc are not far but you need a car or you can use the frequent local buses which stop a few minutes walk away and go all up and down the south coast .
We were pleased with our room and the help fullness of staff and considered it ocean spray good value
First time travel to Barbados and the hotel was exceptional and the hotel staff.
The room was clean, king-size bed, kitchenette, full-size refrigerator, TV and balcony.
The ladies that work at the front desk, Anne and Angela were extremely helpful and friendly. If there was an issue it was resolved immediately I was very impressed with the quick service.
The housekeeping staff was fantastic, two in particular, Udell and Raquel were the nicest people I met. Overall, I was very impressed by all of the hotel staff at Blue Horizon and the General Manager , Mr. Taylor who follow up to ensured that any issues were resolved and to satisfaction.
Stunning hotel, small and friendly. The staff were welcoming and helpful with everything. Omal on the bar is fabulous with his cocktail creations, Angela & Ceraline were great to have at meal times as they provide you with brilliant service and humour. The manager was chatty and often stopped to speak to each guest and see how they were. The rooms were huge and beautifully decorated with air con that was very much needed! The pool although on the small side was perfect for a dip, although the beach is a minutes walk away an is perfection! JJ is the beach chair man who rents out sunbeds an umbrellas, Cuz's fish shack is a must to visit, he serves up the best Marlin sandwiches and ice cold beer! For tours we went with Julian's snorkelling trip- Beach chair guys friend. He told us all about the island and took us swimming with the turtles and to see the sea wrecks. Food at the hotel was varied and delicious, being a fussy eater they also often catered for me if I disliked the choice that day. Over all the Island Inn is a beautiful hotel, with amazing staff, a perfect room, and a stunning beach. We will be back for sure! Thanks for having us x
Great holiday with the family , lazing around the pool ,swimming in the nice warm sea - complementary boat trips during the day to swim with the turtles .
Really good complementary wifi in the rooms and on the private beach. The Resort Manager "Jeff" was really nice , as was his concierge Charlene and the Gazebo bar manager Gilbert and Franz ( he's great fun guy , full of positive energy ) .
When we'd had enough of relaxing either Franz or Rico ( another great guy) took us to nearby restaurants and to pick up food supplies . The Yacht Club at Port St Charles was well worth the visit, as was the Lone Star restaurant which we regularly visited as it was up market for us adults , whilst also had a great kids menu for our young children.
What was also good was the readily available use of jet skis from Sebastian at $75 US per half hour ( great fun and half hour chunks worked out just fine when in need of an adrenalin boost ). Complementary use of the resorts paddle boards was great fun also ( the kids had great balance - unfortunately my balance not so good , so I stuck to using the resorts canoe and kayak which I found much easier ) . There was also a platform out at sea that we would swim out to daily and then rest whist laying on the floating platform - "most relaxing".
The best thing of all was meeting Will Smith ( yes , " Will Smith " ) at the St Peters Bay resort , meeting him was just so great as my family and I are huge fans of him :-)
We had a wonderful stay at Crystal Cove. The ocean-view room with balcony was a dream. The not-too-big resort had 3 pools and was right on the beach! The staff was extremely attentive and provided excellent service. The food was wonderful throughout our stay. I would definitely book this hotel again.
