"Spectacular food and staff!"
Stayed at this hotel last week with my husband. Had a few issues: namely, the air conditioner froze up immediately in our first room, and we had to move twice to get the correct room that we paid for with working air conditioning. Then, thanks to Expedia booking our stay in two separate reservations (4 nights and 1 night, in order to use Reward points since you can't use on a combination hotel/flight package), the hotel never received confirmation of our last night, and I spent a full day worrying about this and trying to reach Expedia to have them confirm the last night with the hotel's staff. But, the hotel and its management was fabulous - and they more than made up for the snafu by comping us a special private dinner anywhere on the hotel grounds, with a private butler, for the final night. The staff also went the extra mile arranging excursions for us. The rooms are all very roomy and comfortable, the beds are great, and the food is FABULOUS. The drinks are plentiful, and they don't skimp on the alcohol in the mixed drinks. Water sports was great, all the staff I interacted with were very friendly and accommodating, and the snorkeling just off shore from the hotel was incredible - spent 2 hours or so a day doing this free activity!!

"Little Corner of Paradise"
It's difficult to add anything to what's already been said about Little Arches. We had a wonderful holiday. Barbados is a fantastic island, with beautiful sea/sand, lots of character and friendly people. However Little Arches definitely raised the holiday to a very special level. It was such a peaceful place, yet not far from bustling Oistins if you want a stroll out. We woke up to an amazing sea view (Room 5) each morning (with our mood not even dampened by the odd rain storm). As has been said before, we often had the pool to ourselves when we had the odd quiet time at the hotel. The staff (without exception) are wonderful - helpful, friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the meals we ate at the restaurant and breakfast was more than adequate - served most days by the delightful Mona. Our room had many elements of quiet luxury, a huge bed, beautiful bedding and plenty of hanging/drawer space to cope with the ridiculous amount of clothes we took! To be completely fair, there were some small things that could be done to make the room even better, the decor needed a bit of refreshing which they were making a start on when we left, and the shower was always cold in the morning even when we let it run. That said - I'm being really picky and wouldn't hesitate to go back to Little Arches when we visit Barbados again as I'm sure we will!

Great holiday with the family , lazing around the pool ,swimming in the nice warm sea - complementary boat trips during the day to swim with the turtles . Really good complementary wifi in the rooms and on the private beach. The Resort Manager "Jeff" was really nice , as was his concierge Charlene and the Gazebo bar manager Gilbert and Franz ( he's great fun guy , full of positive energy ) . When we'd had enough of relaxing either Franz or Rico ( another great guy) took us to nearby restaurants and to pick up food supplies . The Yacht Club at Port St Charles was well worth the visit, as was the Lone Star restaurant which we regularly visited as it was up market for us adults , whilst also had a great kids menu for our young children. What was also good was the readily available use of jet skis from Sebastian at $75 US per half hour ( great fun and half hour chunks worked out just fine when in need of an adrenalin boost ). Complementary use of the resorts paddle boards was great fun also ( the kids had great balance - unfortunately my balance not so good , so I stuck to using the resorts canoe and kayak which I found much easier ) . There was also a platform out at sea that we would swim out to daily and then rest whist laying on the floating platform - "most relaxing". The best thing of all was meeting Will Smith ( yes , " Will Smith " ) at the St Peters Bay resort , meeting him was just so great as my family and I are huge fans of him :-)

Fantastic setting next to the beach, superb helpful staff always trying to help. Don't ever forget the afternoon tea, we always rushed back to this! The sandwiches and cakes were to die for! The gardens are awesome, just truly tropical with the occasional hint of mongoose, hummingbird and monkey!

"A special place"
A stay at the Sea-U gives you a completely different experience of Barbados compared with the upmarket glitz of the west coast and the all-inclusive fun of the south coast. The island's east coast, and Bathsheba in particular, is wild and unspoilt and Sea-U fits perfectly into this ambiance with its traditionally built wooden buildings and relaxed atmosphere.
