“Good location - huge rooms”

I have stayed at the Key about 10 times. I think for the price, it can't be beat in terms of location and room size. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Asoke BTS station. You can get most tourist places in BKK (except Grand Palance) via BTS. The rooms are huge considering the price. And the decorations (all based on a Key motif) are cute. This place is way better than other properties where I've stayed in the area - even when I've paid more elsewhere. The immediate neighborhood is an odd mix. There are low end massage places across the street but high end shopping just down the corner. Overall, the area is fine. It's plenty safe. There's only one trick to theis hotel and that's finding it. While it's listed as Sukhumvit Soi 19, the lobby actually faces a side alleyway that runs off of Soi 19. It's a small hotel so taxis won't know how to find the lobby unless you point it out. To find it, go a couple hundred metres down Soi 19. Of the left there is a Family Mart...the alleyway runs bside the Family Mart. The hotel Lobby is 20 metres or so from the Family Mart.

“Nice little place in bangkok”

The hotel was a little difficult to find for the taxi driver, however once found the location is superb, 5 minutes walk from the skytrain and subway. Hotel itself was having a few rennovations done, but this very quiet and not done at night. The only one comment i would make is that the hotel facilities are not great. although we did get offered breakfast in bed every morning which was great. Good location, good quality and good value for money

“It's good hotel with a couple of faults”

This place is easy to stay and convenient to both robinsons and the asoke skytrain. The staff are really friendly and relaxed and try their best. I have only one complaint and that's the terrible breakfast wish they would change this or give more options. The breakfast is basically toast and a couple of bits of fruit. If they would do something about this I would say it's a great hotel to stay for the money. I also have found that the batteries of things often to be old and worn out they should check it little on this side of the services. Yet again the staff make this place the real winner quick and friendly place to stay.

“It just WORKS”

The greatest feature of the Key is its location adjacent Robinsons and just yards from the BTS and MTR at Asoke. The hotel itself seems to be run by a very few young girls, ...but it works. Its a stylish place, with very modern decor. Som erooms have no windows, or the windows look staight into the multi story car park. You would not stay here for the view! There are essentially no common areas nor even a dining room of any sort. Breakfast, - if you order it, is delivered to your room, and to be honest its not worth having ! HOWEVER, anyone who knows Bangkok knows a hundred places to eat around there.

this property whilst clean and with freindly staff could offer better services. even a simple thing like a buffet breakfast would bring the standard up. Nice people, location was ok...just needs better food and beverage. there are many hotels offer better packages for same or less money.
