“Good Value”
This hotel is great value for money if you are on a budget, the service is first class although the rooms are a bit on the small side. The toilet is also fairly small with an over the bath shower, but they are spotlessly clean. The room is serviced everyday and the mini bar is refilled with water and soft drinks on a daily basis. All the rooms have balconies although, again, they are extremely small. The restaurant is also good value for money and has a varied menu of Thai and European dishes. There is a decent sized pool which is kept clean and gets a lot if use. The only downside is there is no bar in the hotel. There are shops outside the hotel that serve soft drinks, beer and cigarettes - there is also an internet cafe which is a lot cheaper than using the hotel's service The Porter can speak good English and he will get directions for you if you have any problems. Although it is a bit far out from any of the livelier areas of Bangkok the Sky Train is only 2 minutes walk away. Taxis are cheap and plentiful if you are pushed for time.
“Great hotel in Bangkok”
Really friendly staff. Checked in at 10.00am after long flight from London. Clean throughout. Lovely little pool. Would go back. Very close to BST.
“Great service, clean rooms.”
Nice hotel, but seemed a bit out of the way as all of our taxi drivers had to call to find out where it was, even with a map on the back of the hotel card. The service was great. The concierge is particularly good - he was able to tell us many great places to go, perfect english, and caught us cab rides and instructed the drivers where to take us. The rooms were clean with good amenities. The beds were pretty hard though. My room had a great view of the skyscrapers and a great panorama of the rest of the city. There are a lot of street vendors and a department store a couple blocks down the road where you can get good food and functional items. There is also an internet 'cafe' near the hotel where you can get internet for about 90% cheaper than the hotel will charge you.
“it was ok - nice location but some insects in room ;/”
nice location
“Good Location, Friendly Staff”
Great. Close to the boat and subway. Also, has a super market and Internet room at walking distance
“Basic, but good value for money...”
We are a family of 5, including 3 small kids under 10. We stayed for 2 nights in an interconnected room on 10th floor with kitchenette. It worked well. All basics were there and the aircon worked. Breakfast was fine. We ate in a couple of times and although expensive compared to eating out, it is cheap in international terms. Pool was functional also - although some maintenance might be good on the decking area - where one board was rotten (minor point). Short walk to metro train to get around. The immediate surrounding aren't pretty - but then we didn't care!!
“small”
My childen couldn't swim in the pool
