“Excellent location”
Very nice hotel located only few metwrs from BTS station. Neighbborhood is not very nice but the hotel is nice and clean. Will definetlgo back there.
“Deteriorating hotel BUT good location.”
I arrived at 5pm exhausted and the room was not ready and i had to wait one hour. Not even a comlimentary drink or something to make you feel relaxed. Once i got the room it was awful - a balcony overlooing another towering bulding so natural light whatsoever. The room was dated and musty smelling and felt like a 2 or old 3 star rating. The sheets had finger marks on them. The bathroom was in need of refurbishment. I stayed here because over the last 10 years i have almost always stayed here BUT the standard of the Superior room has deteriorated considerably. A deluxe is still better but i worry about the upkeep of them too. The hotel is very well located for really good eating and drinking places on Soi 11 and very close to skytrain and metro so you never need to risk your life in a tuk tuk!
“I would not stay here ever again”
The hotel when we stayed had music coming from below that made it seem like we had music going on in our room I feel this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at because I could not get a decent night sleep. It seemed like we had a party going on in our room all night. I had many days we had to wake up early while there. The hotel looked nice but soon as you wanted to go to sleep was when I had problems with hotel.
“Nice hotel”
First time staying here but have stayed at many other hotels in the area so I know the benchmark. Check-in was fine, got upgraded to a deluxe room with huge double bed. Breakfast was not included in rate, neither was wi-fi, both would have been very expensive to buy. Other large hotels of similar standard in the area (Soi 11 in particular) offer breakfast and wi-fi complimentary. Cost of food and drinks also very expensive when compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel is quick to reach from airport, maybe 25mins, the taxi basically comes off the highway and turns right into soi 5. However, getting back to the airport takes longer since you cannot turn right onto Sukhumvit Rd from Soi 5. Instead the taxi must turn left, loop some blocks, then get onto the highway, so beware of this if you are in a rush. In summary a very nice hotel but if you look at other hotels in the area you can get some extras like breakfast, internet and even free drinks thrown in for the same rate.
“Great value in Bangkok”
Not my first stay here and won't be my last. Location is great, very convenient for most things, shops alternate restaurants, nightlife and only 2 minute walk for skytrain which will take you where you need to be. Hotel staff exceptionally helpful as always. Great time.
“trouble with sewer back up”
check in was fine except the sewer were back up with heavy rain so what happened was the smell from the bathroom was intensely bad all night . we didn't realized it until it was late in the middle of the night that the smell was getting stronger and coming from the bathroom. no apology or refund , just another extra night when we go back next time. not sure want to do that.
“Good Value”
Overnight transit stop, got in late and asked for a quiet room, so they upgraded me free of charge and despite the noisy locale, I didn't hear a thing. Next to the skytrain and the highway, so ideally placed for the airport and anywhere else you want to see. Have never stayed in a bad hotel in Bangkok and can easily recommend this one, especially if on a budget or a quick transit stop.
“Goof value option”
For the price this is a good quality hotel, central and convenient for skytrain. Room comfortable and good service, apart from one day when we had to ask for the room to be serviced in the evening. Very pleasant pool area/
“A delightful introduction to the Land of Smiles”
This was my first trip to Thailand and the welcome and service I received during my stay were first class - it was a lovely couple of days. Thank you, Amari - I look forward to many more return visits.
