“Would return”
The room was a little hot and dry. Other than that, it was great. Very comfortable beds!!
“Happy spa girl”
Had a great time in Banff! We are planning our next girls trip
“Comfort at a Reasonable Price”
The hotel is nicely renovated, and I found the rooms to be quite nice (good beds, efficient air conditioning, nice bathroom). The pool area is quite good too, better than I expected. Its a large hotel, so it can be pretty busy, and when I was there they were hosting an event for a Calgary radio station, but I didn't hear any noise from it as they kept all of those people together in one block of rooms. The hotel is a little far from the centre of town, but you can walk there in about 10-15 minutes. Overall I was quite satisfied and would stay there again.
“would stay again”
The hotel was very nice and clean. It's very cozy in the lobby of the hotel with a wood burning fireplace and seating area. The Keg restaurant is situated in the hotel near the lobby which is definitely an asset. Our server Helen was awesome. She was very nice and sincere. She even got to know us by names and brought me a piece of icecream cake for my birthday and quietly sang me happy birthday so I wouldn't get embarassed. The hotel was very quiet and never had any problems with noise near our rooms at all.
“Warm rooms! no AC.”
Greeted nicely upon arrival! Check in was quik. The Lodge looks nice!! Close to downtown. And have the Keg on location was great!!
“Dirty Rooms with so Much Dust I got sick! Stay away from the CariPOO!”
There was so much dust in our room I could write in it! I woke up every morning so congested from all the dust in the rooms... there were thick layers of dust on the furniture and on the carpet around the furniture. There were stains on the carpet. There were stains on the bedspread that looked like blood. There is only one small window in the corner and you cant get any airflow in the room.. I couldn't even see the sky outside. THIS is the worst HOTEL I have ever stayed at! In the last 2 years we have stayed at almost 20 hotels. This hotel was the worst. We have stayed in hotels around the world. I feel that the room is just a place to stay at night so I don't care for bells and whistles because you really don't spend much time in your room.. but IT'S crazy when the room is so dirty you get sick. The front desk staff were not helpful each time we dealt with them. We were told that the manager was away when we asked for them. I was so glad when we left. I felt as if this place ruined our vacation because it's what I think of first when I think about Banff... Don't go to this hotel.
“excelent experience, please better pillow”
our stay in the hotel was very good, clean rooms, a lot good amenites, please chanege the pillows, they were to hard.
“food”
The steak was not very good.
“Not impressed”
I've paid for the supreme room, however, it doesn't look supreme. Very uncomfortable. The front desk staff are quite friendly though. However, the host in front of The Keg inside the hotel was very rude. There was free coffee and tea in the morning inside the lounge area, when my husband went to get some coffee, he found out that there was no more coffee nor hot water for the tea. He went to notified the staff, she just gave him an attitude and told my husband that there was more coffee, my husband however convinced her that there was no more. She then gave an attitude look again and shook all the containers. Of course there was no more, then she went inside The keg to get more coffee and hot water, again with an annoyed attitude look. We said thank you to her but she just glared and turned away. Also, our full size SUV cannot park their free underground parking lot. Small cars are OK
“nice”
nice but not fantastic
