Great stay. Upon check in the clerk was very helpful and gave us upgrades and late checkout due to us missing the complimentary social hour w/ free drinks. Room almost looked like a small apartment, dining area, small living room w/ couch and TV and a separate bedroom. Breakfast in the morning was a huge buffet w/ bacon, eggs, sausage, potatoes and an omelette bar. It was pretty crowded but there was plenty of space and the service personnel were quick and polite in clearly tables.
This hotel I recomend to anyone. The staff, from front desk, day (Lisa and Cate) and evening (don't remember names), to the valet guys, to Carlton at security. Everyone was friendly and helpful any way they could be. The entire staff was friendly, polite and helped out any way that they could. the room was a bit small but I will use the word cozy as it was well decorated, comfortable and most of all, clean!
If you want the harbor area, or downtown, and you want a nice hotel, this is the place.
Hotel had many amenities for the price we paid through Expedia- decent pool and hot tub. Sauna as well, but we didn't use it. Free hot breakfast and free parking. I had called the day before to request early check-in because we were to arrive an hour before check-in and my husband was going to drop off my daughter and I to attend a business meeting. They said it would be no problem. When we arrived, their computers were down so they couldn't check anyone in, but they did let people use the pool while they were waiting to check in. By the time we were done at the pool an hour later, they were back working! We also had a great experience on the shuttle. Instead of driving to the Inner Harbor and dealing with parking- which seemed quite expensive- we took the shuttle. It was like a free tour of Baltimore as they dropped people off at the ballpark first. Overall, very good experience at Baltimore's Best Western Plus!
We chose this hotel for the proximity to the Inner harbor which was the focus of our trip. Arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by the valets outside. They were very warm and welcoming. When we asked, they even offered help with directions, restaurants, etc. Inside, we were very pleased with the appearance of the hotel. The decor was exceptional and we even took pictures of the lobby, we were so impressed! The staff at the desk were all very nice and got us into our room as soon as we arrived. Our room was very warm and inviting as soon as we opened the door. Any time we walked through the hotel, we were always greeted by the staff with a smile and 'hello'. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Baltimore. Its location was within a short walking distance to almost everything.
The hotel staff of this boutique-type hotel was very helpful, friendly and eager to accommodate any needs our family of four had. In particular, Yolanda at the reception desk, who welcomed us to both the hotel and the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, is a credit to the Brookshire Suites organization. The bedroom, sitting area and bathroom were large and comfortable and there were plenty of towels. However, I do wish there was a large dresser in the room (there was a nightstand with two deep drawers and a closet). The location of the hotel is ideal as you can walk to Camden Yards, the football stadium, restaurants, shopping and the Federal Hill area. I would gladly recommend this hotel to others visiting the Baltimore Inner Harbor area.
