“Close to Inner Harbor”
Nice place. Vault in basement is worth looking at. Room was very large, if in an odd arranegement. Long and narrow. Included microwave, etc etc. Breakfast was good.
“Room was little small for a suit!”
Location was convenient - walking distance to the harbor. Room was kind of small. Valet was unnecessary as we just walked to everything.
“Welcome surprise”
on a night when most other hotels were booked, I found this place. Great deal, and about 1 block from the inner harbor. breakfast was included (not great eggs) but nice simple selections. Clean spacious room
“Great value”
I booked this hotel based on price and proximity to the Inner Harbor. Not only was it a great value (especially for a king suite), it was walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, and I would definitely go back again. This hotel is a hidden gem!
“Extremely Friendly workers”
I booked the hotel thet last minute due to Hurricane Irene. Very pleasant personnel, I was able to get into my room early when checking in. The professionalism of Yolanda at the front desk was superb. She was extremely nice and I would go back just because of her. Room was very clean and neat. Had a great stay. (although Yankees lost)
“Nice hotel wierd room configuration”
Our hotel was featured as a "suite hotel", but when we arrived, there was no door between the bedroom and the sitting area. Instead there was an angled wall with 2 TV's mounted on either side, so if you were in the sitting room or laying in bed, all you heard was the other TV. Also, we were charged $32.00 for overnight parking, and $10.00 an hour after 2:pm. We were in Baltimore for my daughter's college graduation, and since the graduation wasn't over until after four, that cost an additional $30.00! So I ended up paying $62.00 for parking for a room that I thought was reasonably priced. The hotel was beautiful, old and charming. The room was clean. The complimentary breakfast could have offered more choices, but it was adequate.
“I would return”
Hotel is clean and the breakfast buffet lovely. Would be nicer to have proper cutlery and plates rather than the plastic supplied. Rooms, while spacious, clean and high ceilinged are dark, not all the curtains open easily and the lights are not always up to the job. Shower was lovely and bathroom clean, bed huge comfy and clean. Would have liked to be able to switch the aircon off as i don't like sleeping with the hum. Room coffee allocation was 1 sachet a day which was a bit stingey and the gym room was too small (4 pieces of equipment lined up in front of a mirror) to want to use. However for ease of access to the harbour area and the conference centre (and thus the stadium) I would say this hotel provided excellent value for money and a comfortable stay
“Very satisfied”
Beautiful hotel. I understand it was a bank years ago that was transformed into a hotel. Very quaint. Will stay here again.
“Great experience.”
Great experience at this hotel! Valet parking is the only option unless you choose to find parking on the city streets...
“"Can't wait to go back"”
I plan to take my vacation in the city of Baltimore at a later date, when I will have time to really enjoy the city. I was in Baltimore for graduation and my time was limited.
