“Very pleasantly surprised.”
I usually stay in B&B's but this was a special offer flight/hotel package. I didn't expect the level of friendly, personal service I received. I was upgraded to a king size room which was spacious - there was room in the bed for me and at least one horse - a desk and chair and an armchair. There was free internet access in the lobby so I could keep up-to-date with how badly the England cricket team were doing. I would have liked a breakfast room - breakfast was only available as room service - but that is my only quibble. Otherwise, brownie points all round.
“More convenient for the inner harbour than I expected - 15 min easy walk max”
Issues raised were dealt with very promptly and efficiently - in my case a blocked toilet (courtesy of a previous room occupant). The "Free" wi-fi was not free in practice for emails - only for limited searches through the TV. Plenty of coffee/tea available in room - but limited supplies of "creamer" (no milk). Bottled water was $1.50 a large bottle if used. No mini-bar in room. Air-con needed in June - but cold draught in bed, so tucked duvet up round ears. I was delighted to find the whole hotel is "smoke-free" but smokers beware. Cheat and smoke in the bedroom and you are warned by a prominent notice that if you do, you will be charged $200 to clean the room. Would definitely stay here again if in Baltimore - the staff made it especially welcoming. Good snacks/trinkets/souvenir shop on ground floor, open from 7am to 11 pm - prices reasonable. Got all I wanted here for those little souvenirs we all carry home - don't wait until you get to the Baltimore (BWI) airport - there's virtually nothing there!
“not sure about it! 1-6 May 09”
Was colse to the BCC where my conference was ,the hotel was basic, they forgot to clean my room one day ! nice receptionist although the concierge didnt know about a diner I ve asked him about !! good gym kept me going on rainy days in bnaltimore, nice toiletary, dont waste your money eating in Shul's resto very very over priced ,
“Very BAD experience”
Pleasant welcome by the staff on arrival. From there downhill. The room was nice, but had the contents of someone's nose on the tiles in the bathroom for 4 days! Even left a post-it next to it, this was removed but the nose contents were left. Had a church group staying who spent two nights going from room to room till 3 am banging doors. Night staff did nothing despite a number of phone-calls to reception. on the third night someone was smoking in the room next door and due to the telephone sockets on the wall hanging off, the smoke drifted into my room, at 3 am the night security asked them to keep the noise down but did not stop the smoking. Very poor quality hotel with a lot of vagrants hanging around outside the streets surrounding the Hotel. Not a safe area to be in at night. The Hotel has such potential but is let down by the staff. Can recommend the breakfast staff, they were very helpful and attentive and the food was excellent. Shame, was here 7 nights and found the experience dreadful. Been staying in Baltimore centre for the last 5 years, first time here and can honestly say the worst hotel experience ever.
