“Great Pillows”
Really great staff very helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms with great pillows which is very unusual. Unfortunately no where to eat in the evenings. Close to the port for Cruise trips.
“Holiday Inn and Suites -- surprisingly good value!”
Holiday Inn is not a name usually associated with luxury, but this hotel was really a pleasant surprise. The entire hotel was very well maintained and the room was clean and comfortable. This hotel is very convenient to many destinations in downtown Baltimore - most of the time I simply walked rather than paying a taxi. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Very impressive.
“Holiday Inn Express Gay St, Baltimore”
Unbelievable that this was rated between a 4-5 star hotel. Filthy carpet, rude staff, bathroom not completely clean, very poor parking had to park on street. Shuttle service convenient, but over all the experience was very poor and would never stay there again.
“former bank ,now hotel”
Nice hotel, very interesting halls & rooms, hotel was once a bank. Be prepared to pay extra for off-street parking, of which there is little. Also area restaurants offer pick up service, though Mo's never showed up for us!!!! Close but maybe not walking distance from Johns Hopkins & Kennedy Kreiger hospitals.
“Jinhyung Park”
This hotel is really bad. I dont want to use this hotel again. DON'T USE THIS HOTEL. THEY CHARGED, and NEVER REFUND.
“Great hotel despite some mishaps”
We were pleasantly surprised with nice modern rooms. The bathroom was large and up to date. Not enough towels for the four people in our room. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. I would definitely stay there again, despite some mishaps upon check in.
“Baltimore Marathon”
See above - also the breakfast was more than we would have expected.
“neat 2 story lobby with rooms overlooknig it”
Great 2-story lobby. Very nice building. They gave us a special room that overlooked the lobby. It was on the corner of the building as well, so we had windows on 3 sides--lobby, exterior side, and other exterior side. Very neat. They had one of those cool shower heads as well. Clean and comfortable. Close to all the attractions downtown.
“The clerk need to be more customer service oriented. Will never use again.”
I expected more of this hotel; the overall condition of the hotel was passable. However, I think the clerk needed some training in dealing with the public. I will never use this hotel again. On a positive note, the hotel was pretty clean.
“They will bill you for phone calls after you check out!”
While the appearance of the hotel was nice and the rooms were okay. There were stains on the carpets and bed spread which for a new hotel is unacceptable. The neighborhood is less than desireable. Additionally, they had phone troubles during our stay and after we checked out were were billed for a phone call that partially occurred after we checked out. In trying to resolve this matter the hotel manager was extremley rude and even became beligerant with me over the phone. The charge has yet to be resolved. I would not recommend this hotel.
