Good location and price but a bit dirty

Location: there is a huge mall about 10 minutes away that is a decent place to kill some time
I chose this hotel as it is very close to BWI and the price was right. However, when I arrived to check in, the GSA was chit chatting with another employee at the desk as I waited to check in. It seemed as if their personal conversation was more important than a guest waiting to get taken care of. Then, when I got to my room, there was a housekeeper straightening up the comforter which was very odd since there was no cart in near the room and it almost looked like I caught her napping. As far as the cleanliness of the room, it wasn't too good. There was a lot of hair (that was definitely not mine) in the bed and in the bathroom - pretty gross. Also, I was surprised that they didn't have any shampoo but maybe that's how Extended Stay America rolls.

Wouldn't stay there again

Sink was falling off the wall, toilet wouldn't flush, no ice machine, had to ask for cups they weren't even in the room. Understaffed-The lady at the front desk was doing everything and no one else was around. Smelled like smoke in a non smoking room. Air conditioning couldn't keep the room at a consistent temp.

There are 2 Extended Stays less than a mile apart - don't ask why, but there are. Make sure your cabbie drops you at the correct one! It was a clean, inexpensive, no-frills hotel. You'll get exactly what you pay for, which is fine.

Pros: clean, room organized
Cons: better staff, compensation if ANY issue would occur.
Location: there was a bob evans and crackle barrel near by
The stay at the hotel wasn't bad but the thing that got to me was that the power went out to the hotel in the middle of the night which wasn't a big deal, But when i went to check out the front desk manager didn't offer any compensation or even apologize for this situation. not pleased at all with that.

Good hotel for a short stay and few expectations. You get what you pay for so don't expect a 5star hotel room for 2 star price. Not as bad as previous reviews I read.

Pros: Next to the highway.
Cons: Use a check list to make sure conditions are improving. Cleaning rooms, TV works, Window blinds in working order, Door Access Maintenance.
Location: There were restaurants, gas station, and a 7 eleven near by. Access to highways as well.
The room was very clean at check in which was great. But that was about it. 1. Parking at night gets crowded because pickup trucks are using there tow taking up more spots. 2. I was there for 3 nights and my room was not cleaned once. I left my room at 7AM every day during my stay. Returning at 5:30PM to find it in the same condition. 3. The TV had horrible reception and was unwatchable. 4. The bed was too hard and made it difficult to sleep. 5. The blinds did not close all the way leaving a gap in the middle and people able to see in. I noticed this about other rooms as well. 6. My room card got de-activated twice. The front desk told me to keep my card away from all electronics. I have never had that happen before and surly it was next to an electronic device. 7. The iron in the room did not work as it should.

Pros: The location and the studio room, although I wasn't there long enough to use the kitchen.
Cons: An airport shuttle at a minimum! I would think between the 2 hotels, 1/2 a mile apart, a shuttle would be used all day long!
Location: Ruby Tuesdays, 7 eleven, chili's, running/jogging in the office park.
I had to stay here last minute due a flight cancellation. The price and location were right so I made a prepaid reservation on Expedia. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't offer an airport shuttle, despite being only 2 miles from the airport! That wasn't a huge deal that evening BUT, the cab driver took us to the wrong hotel! You see, there are two Extended Stay hotels 2 miles from BWI about half a mile apart. Luckily it was a short walk through an office park and it wasn't raining. The room itself was decent but I've stayed at nicer places for that price ($117.)
