“Will go back”

This hotel was fantastic. It was better than the one I stayed in, in the Bahamas. The transfer service was excellent and the driver even offered the hotel transfer service when we came back from our trip even though we would not be staying at the hotel. Great Service, good breakfast and affordable....

The Free shuttle was quick. Just call them once you get your luggage. There's a chilis right next to it. Stays open til 12a on the weekend.

“Adequate accommodations for Baltimore/DC exploration”

My family of four has used Country Inn and Suites before and find that their 2 queen plus safa bed suites accommodate us well. This was no exception. We were 15 minutes from Baltimores Inner Harbor and 10 minutes from the Anne Arundel Outlet Mall. When exploring DC we drove 40 minutes or so to the Greenbelt metro station and took the train from there. The $4.25 parking fee for the day was much cheaper and more simple than parking or driving in the city. The only negatives: Dreadful water pressure. During every shower I found myself dreaming of my home shower. We stayed four nights at this hotel and every day, after housekeeping cleaned the room, our key cards were deactivated. After being out for 12-14 hours in 95 degree weather I did not appreciate being locked out of our room and having to go to the desk to have our cards reactivated. This happened EVERY DAY! The staff were pleasant enough, but seemed rather indifferent. I have had many other experiences with more friendly, helpful staff. Overall, the hotel met our needs and I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again.

“Baltimore airport country inn”

Provided everything we needed for overnight stay near airport, and included complimentary bus service to nearby rail station for visit to downtown Baltimore, as well as to and from airport.

Area recommendations

We had half a day to fill, and travelled by light rail to downtown Baltimore - area around harbour is interesting.

“Great Airport Shuttle”

What impressed me the most about this hotel was the shuttle service to the airport. The drivers were friendly and helpful, and the shuttle was quick and efficient. They took us directly to the Amtrak/MARC station when we took a trip to Washington, and picked us up at the end of the day. When we needed to leave for the airport at 5:30 a.m., they were ready and waiting when we came down. This exceptional service helped our trip to Baltimore to go smoothly!

Getting around

The MARC train is the best way to get to Washington, D.C. from Baltimore using public transportation. Tickets are purchased at the Amtrak station near the BWI airport.

Family-friendly activities

The National Electronics Museum is located right across the street from the hotel.

“Breakfast was unsatisfactory both days”

The breakfast was disappointing. Not as good as previous stays at this location and other Country Inn Suites. Eggs were bland, bagels were stale. The staff was very slow to replenish food, plates, and utensils. Trash barrels were full and overflowing and were never emptied.
