Older building but very modern inside. Great location. Street out front is a bit noisy at night if you have window open. No AC, so on hot nights it’s likely to be so. Really nice decor and breakfast room.

Amazing central location. Lovely staff and great room for the three of us, with a separate little room off ours for our teenage daughter. Only downsides were that we were there during a hot spell and there is no air con so it was hard to sleep. Also breakfast was pretty limited, it was OK but not as good as some of the other hotels we stayed in in Germany. I’d definitely go back though, as long as it wasn’t going to be hot.

Decent value for the money.
Staff and location were five star. I got a back room as requested, but it was VERY small and basic. Shower was a real elbow banger. Breakfast was great, but the brewed coffee was very poor in quality and flavor. Stick with the cappuccino machine.

The hotel overlooks the river and is close to historical and tourist sites. The hotel room was clean and comfortable but very small. The hotel's parking lot is a 10 minute walk from the property. There is some city street parking but it is very limited. Breakfast was delicious.

Unexpected great time
Amazing!! Great place, great location, great breakfast. Underground parking close by (7.eu) staff were wonderful & helpful. Restaurant in the building, great food, make a reservation. We just stopped here to rest for a couple of days on our way home from Sweden. Turned out to be a wonderful time.

The hotel has a great location and is within walking distance of the train station and other sites. The hotel is also on a busy street and the noise from car and boat traffic was bothersome at times, especially in the morning.

The location of this hotel is amazing! Right in the heart of the historic centre and opposite the waterway. The Reception staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Our room was at the front of the hotel and overlooked the water. It was a comfortable and well equipped room. The breakfast was of really good quality with a lot of choice. I thought this hotel was absolutely excellent value for money. The decor of the hotel is a little old fashioned, but for me this did not detract from a really lovely stay in the historic heart of this beautiful city.

Best Location in Town!
Great location! Older hotel with charm. Breakfast was a true continental with no hot foods (which was a disappointment). Rooms were spacious. Parking off site (not very far) and reasonable.

Nice hotel with very nice reception and breakfast staff. Parking is a bit of a jaunt so we packed our things into small bags to carry back to the hotel. The room was very, very small. We would not have had room for our suitcases. Nevertheless, it was comfortable. We were disappointed to have a view of the back looking at a roof, though we could see the church spire. The breakfast was really great. The location is perfect and Luebeck is a beautiful place to walk around. Everything was closed because of Reunification Day, but the sites were lovely.

Absolute best location in town.
The absolute best location in town. The hotel is situated in an area with all the historic tourist attractions in short walking distance. The hotel is nice and clean, with kind and helpful staff. You really feel the history behind these walls. Best value for money. Poul

Ring Hotel Jensen is a quaint, older hotel. We gave up the double bed to have twin beds and a room with a view overlooking the canal and city gate. Loved the location. Reception was very helpful. Would definitely like to stay here again.

Great view from the room in a great location but--
I didn't think this was a comofortable hotel. The beds were really very low & had thin mattresses - not good if you have back problems. Also the dark brown shag carpetting all over gives it a shabby look. The bedroom floors are of different levels- like the bathrooms have 2 steps up & bedroom as 1 step up -- so narrow that we could easily miss a step. Location & view of the canal are super- only the noise late at night of traffic, later night folks outside you window & sirens of ambulances screetching could spoil your sleep. Breakfast is okay- but stops promptly at 10:00.

Great place to stay
The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the old town center and right across from the river and other tourist sites. The room was clean, and the bathroom spacious and light. If you have a car you can park 3 minutes away in public parking.

Fantastic hotel in the old city of Lubeck
Hotel Jensen is located just inside the old city of Lubeck, about a 10-minute walk from the city's train station and within walking distance of the old town and its attractions. Although the building is reportedly from the 14th century, it is nicely appointed, has all the modern conveniences and was very comfortable. The windows had excellent sound-proofing and even on the upper floors, the showers had excellent water pressure and temperature. A great breakfast was also included in the price, and a number of cafes were located just outside the front door. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Lubeck.

Excellent location in the nicest part of Lubeck old town, no convenient parking close by though. Rooms are ok and were clean, overall the hotel was a bit dated. And paranoid about guests using their WIFI which required registration by passport and was limited to one device for the room.
