Great central location for Kiel
Great overnight stay in Kiel. Large comfortable room. Walking distance to the old city where we had a choice of eating places. The restaurant in the hotel isn’t open on a Monday Breakfast was excellent

This hotel is situated at the Kiel waterfront (near ferry port) and opposite to the Main Train station. It is fully renovated with spacious rooms and a lot of daylight owing to large windows. Breakfast is a bit problematic as you have to queue for the table…

My wife and I stayed in the Atlantic Hotel Kiel for 3 nights in July 2023 whilst visiting friends in Kiel. The hotel is quite new, I think. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever seen.

Atlantic is right opposite kiel hbf, with a shopping mall next to it. Staff are super friendly. Room was big and spacious. We were here to visit family so it was an excellent choice for us. Highly recommended.

The rooms are extremely quiet with very comfortable beds. My room was next to the lift but I never heard anything from the hallway. Online check-in ahead of time meant that I just spent literally seconds to check in on arrival. The cocktail bar on the top floor is not to be missed with very special creations. I loved the breakfasts with plenty of both hot and cold selections and a different vitamin smoothie "shot" each morning. Location couldn't have been more perfect - directly across from the train station and the coach stop from Hamburg airport. There is also truly extensive indoor shopping 1 block away with the pedestrian zone about 5 minutes walk. Overall I couldn't have been happier with my choice and I will stay there again next time I am in Kiel.

Kiel Family Trip
We stayed at the Atlantic Hotel for a week. The staff was super friendly and professional. The hotel is very child friendly. Our daughter really enjoyed the "children's play corner" in the breakfast area. The breakfast buffet was also great. We'd definitely come back!

We stayed for a night in this hotel. It was a very cold and windy day. When we got to the room it was freezing cold. Then they came and tried to fix it. After a few hours no difference. They came back and said they could not do anymore and other rooms are also cold. We were paying a lot for a suit and did not expect this from a 4 star hotel. Also check out time was 11am which was another problem.

The front desk staff could be friendlier, you had to greet them.. not okay for a high end hotel ! Service was just okay in the breakfast Saal, and roof top bar was just so-so. I expected more for €1,800!

Modern, clean, and welcoming
The hotel is very nice, seems new and clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They accommodated me when I forgot my US power adapter. The beds were quite firm, I means beds, since a "king" is two twin beds pushed together. The comforters on the beds are soft, but ridiculously warm and they do not put an additional sheet between you and the comforter, so it is difficult to regulate your body heat.

OK hotel with nice restaurant
A nice clean hotel with a very central location. Room was fine, restaurant was good. Only disappointment is the fitness room- it’s very small and equipment selection is bad.

There was no parking at the hotel so we had to park at the Hauptbahnhof, which was super inconvenient when checking in and out, met with a shrug from reception staff. The hotel is pretty basic but fine for a city centre train station hotel. Breakfast was fine but with awkward service, and you are charged for it whether you go or not. We stayed here once and then found a better hotel in the area.

Mini Kiel week.
Both me and a friend booked a couple of rooms when we were in the city for a couple of nights. Opposite the train station and on the the water front which has a ferry based taxi up and down the front. Room was clean and comfy. Food was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Roof top bar has good selection and good views. Happily stay again.

Clean, quiet and comfortable
Very nice hotel close to the central railway station. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection including sparkling wine ! The rooms were very clean and the house keeping/cleaners did an excellent job.

Had booked a suite for about $400 a night for New Year's Eve. Bar was closed because of a soldout event and I couldn't get a drink. Unfriendly staff told me every guest was informed via email which was a lie. No room service available to order a drink. Never again!

Overall a good experience
Enjoyed the stay in comfortable beds in spacious room. Well positioned hotel with train station and bus stops in front but still not noisy and crowded outside the hotel. Has a magnificent bar on the top floor with views of the Kiel harbor. Efficient and helpful staff at the reception and the restaurant. The main shopping centre is across the road with plenty of choice for coffee and food.

Good location, nice modern rooms. Poor gym
Hotel is in a convenient located, parking right behind the building. Rooms are modern and spacious. However for those who are looking to exercise during the stay think twice about staying here. I was here last year and the single treadmill was hardly moving. Belt was not maintained to the point it was unsafe to use. I came here this week assuming such issues would have been taking care of by now and was shocked to see the single treadmill thry had was simply missing. No option to run although hotel pictures show a treadmill. The elyptical was wobbly and so couldn't use it either. For such a nice hotel brand they surely can do better that this for guests who want to work out during their stay

Perfect Location, Friendly Hotel
I stay here often for business. Conveniently located, close to both railway station and city centre. Breakfast is a delight and the rooms, large and comfortable. They have recently upgraded the in room refreshment service which is a bonus.

Good quality hotel, great location, pricey.
Good quality hotel in excellent location. Rooms are "very good" rather than "excellent", but comfortable and well equipped. Communal areas have a feeling of quality. Staff are universally excellent. I would happily stay there again, except the price will make me look for a good alternative.
