From the moment we went into The Waterfront House we were made feel completely at home. We were sorry that we could on this occasion stay only one night, but we will be back to stay a little longer. Everything was perfect, the room, the food and of course the friendliness. Brilliant!
We stayed at the Armada for Sunday through to Tuesday toward the end of October. We didn't know it when we booked the hotel that it was a Bank Holiday on the Monday in Ireland, and it was half term, but to all intents and purposes for us it made no difference other than meaning there were more people for breakfast than we would have expected to see on a Monday. Speaking of breakfast, what a spread? We found the hot food (bacon, sausages, white pudding and black pudding, roast potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, scrambled egg, and fried egg) to be both hot and fresh, and the range of cereals and porridge both wide and plentiful.
We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, our room was large and clean, with comfortable beds, and good facilities, and the view of the bay from our first floor window was absolutely breathtaking.
Would we stay there again? Certainly!
Would we recommend it to others? Definitely!
If there was anything to niggle at then I would say that the lack of a large general lobby type area for people to come in and meet for coffee and conversation is the only thing missing.

Stayed here as honeymooners.
Wonderful heart and swan display made from towels on the bed, made a great welcome.
Beautiful view of the bay from our room.
Enjoyed a lovely breakfast every morning (new pancake maker was delightful). Although the restaurant looked a little too pricey for us in the evening, there was a bistro on site open during the day.
Made good use of the Leisure facilities swimming, sauna and gym. Very friendly staff too.
Seemed like a hotel more catered for the retired and coach trips.
"Premier Irish Bed & Breakfast Conveniently Located"
Fantastic experience visiting Galway, made all the better by our stay at the Sea Breeze Lodge with Fred & Michelle! My wife and I had a deluxe time staying at their home, and could not have asked for a better experience. Our room was top notch, complete with in room sound system that played over installed speakers, quality access to WiFi on every floor and a complete and gorgeous bathroom suite. The bathtub was nice and deep, while the shower featured a 'rainfall' style shower head.
The home has obviously been recently updated, and everything was held in high standard and with fantastic attention to detail. The bed was a king sized memory foam bed, with memory foam pillows, and we slept soundly.
Breakfast in the morning was prepared by Fred who sat with us to tell stories and just have general polite conversation - In our opinion this doesn't occur enough these days. His traditional Irish Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and you will not walk away hungry.
My wife and I loved our stay in Galway and will definitely becoming back to visit again with the intent of staying at the Sea Breeze Lodge again!

I booked the hotel because I am a visiting international student who needed accomodations while I house hunted. The staff (particularly the house boy) were lovely, and brekkie was both quality and well presented. The room was clean and comfortable, the wifi worked so well, and the loo was clean and well cared for. Overall my stay was very comfortable, and more than I expected. Staff was very accommodating! Location was awesome! Just off the ocean and near the bus line into the city centre.
