“Carlton - Ballinasloe”
Nice Hotel
“Great hotel right on the edge of town. Going back next year!”
Good hotel, good location with plenty of car parking available. Rooms are new and modern but lacked some finishing touches. The food is excellent, we had breakfast twice along with a meal in the bar and the wedding breakfast. Would definatley recommend the food here!! The bar area is nice and big and has a nice atmosphere and of course good quality Guinness available. Will definately use again when in Balinaloe.
“Maintainance of Room”
The hotel did not respond to requests to replace burned out light bulbs. The vanity in the bathroom was so poorly lighted, my lady had to come out into the main room to do her makeup. The desk lamp was not fixed, till I took it to the front desk myself. Garbage cans were not emptied each day, like regular hotels. Drinking glasses were not replaced or cleaned each day either. Poor customer care!

Very nice service, rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel
“Fabulous but how does it stay open?”
This hotel is magnificant and fantastic to stay at I would recommend it highly, But I cannot see with the current irish economy how it stays open. It is huge and it is in a small town near the west coast which is about to by bypassed by a new motorway...there can be very little business?

This hotel was very impressive. The staff were a true credit to the hotel.We would definately stay again if we were in the area.
