“Wouldn't hesitat to stay there again”
Good location as locations go in Kuta. Right next door to a Catholic church. The church's EXTREMELY loud bell is rung at 7:45am on Sunday mornings.( I stopped counting at 183 gongs.) This would be the only big negative for this location. It is relatively close to the road and there is intermittent low level street noise that can reach the rooms. I didn't find that unacceptable or disturbing. I would stay there again. Great staff.
“nice small clean hotel”
Our air conditioner did not work at all, just blew out warm air, couldn't sleep, we complained to management who could not move us as all rooms were occupied, we had paid for a deluxe room and had to stay another night in the same room using a fan, were not happy with the service provided my management, unacceptable, and there were times when there was no hot water. We did get moved after two nights to another deluxe room two door down. Management were not helpful in providing a solution and it was unacceptable, as we were paying top dollar for a deluxe room. The variety for breakfast was poor, very limited. The hotel itself was clean and the rooms big and comfortable when it was cool!
“Best kept secrets”
Best kept secrets - says it all, highly recommended ++++++ Images displayed are as if you are there all ready!!!!
“Had a wonderful stay”
Our overall stay at this hotel was excellent. Only a small hotel and not right in Kuta but still walking distance to the centre and surrounding markets which for us was great not so noisy. Food was OK but could be improved but no worse than other places. We had a lovely poolside room and the staff were very friendly and helpful and everything was very clean
“Good value for money”
Small, clean and friendly, good value for money. Useful as a base to stay, nice pool no facilities like gym or games room. Busy road out the front, but with a security guard to stop the traffic for you, short walk to beach, walking distance from waterpark and shopping plaza and bars.
“Highly recommended hotel in Kuta”
The choice of this hotel made our trip a very pleasant one. Staff were very helpful, catering to your requests. Buffet breakfasts were awesome!!! If we come back to Bali one day, we will book with this hotel again
“Perfect”
This little hotel is a jewel. It hasnt the hussle and bussle of large resorts and is well equipped and offers most of what the large resorts offer. It is relaxing and quiet with a very nice pool and other facilities. The staff are friendly and go well beyond to help and make your stay an enjoyable one. It is well located to access the main Kuta shopping/restaurant area and a short distance from the beach.
“3 star at the best”
Low maintainance and showing the Age. Cocroches seen in the room and behind bathoom mirror. Service good Breakfast quality and cleaniness needs improvement
“Lovely hotel and staff. Location not great, too much road works going on outside.”
The staff were amazing and so friendly. Buffet breakfast was beautiful. Cocktails were a bit expensive. The hotel and my room was lovely. The location was not nice, it was off a main road and very busy. There was road works going on which made it difficult to walk on the path and a lot of stalls to pass to get to any nice restaurants, the beach and the shopping centre.
“Better Than 3.5 stars. Great.”
A really nice hotel, close enough to central Kuta to walk & far enough away to be out of the ratrace. The room was great, queen size bed was good, shower was hot, balcony was a bonus for us. The aircon was leaking but that was fixed without fuss. Room was cleaned & made up daily. The dining room was nice and comfy, breakfast menu was varied and plentiful. Eggs, pancakes, cerials etc. Very good. Lunch and dinner menus were OK too although we ate out 50%. Live entertainment a few nights a week was a bonus. The pool was our favourite area. The pool itself, although not large by Bali standards, was clean with adequate lounges around it and areas of sun and shade. The palms and greenery around the pool were fantastic and made the whole area very relaxing. Sound of running water :o) Only negative comments I have.. the waiting staff need to understand & speak english better. Twice we were given an extra main course we did not order & had to pay for. The waitress simply didn't understand.. so it's a good idea not to alter the menu. Free WiFi was available, but only around the lobby/dining/pool area. It would have been better if it was available in our room as well. Overall, we were really happy with The Vira. The staff and front office were friendly and helpful. The unexpected offer to drive us to the airport was a nice touch to end our holiday. We would definately stay there again and highly recommend it. If you want to party all nighty .. another hotel might suit you better.
