Beautiful gardens and grounds. Hotel staff a bit casual, but generally helpful. Some traffic noise and music at night, but that comes from being very central.

Nice ,clean and tidy Motel, good location.
I stayed there for about 2 weeks, and have stayed there twice before. On previous occasions I have no complaints. However on this occasion the air conditioning in my room was not cooling the air. I reported the matter about 4 times to the reception but the Air con was not fixed. So I feel they could do better on the maintenence issues. Other than that everything else was good,

Not worth the money
A very run down Property & Rooms. I Have Traveled to Bali over 30 times and there alot of better options for the same price. I booked a deluxe Room and was very disappointed. Shower was terrible, Bed coverings old & stained, Mattress uncomfortable, and the unit was very aged & tired.

Very quiet hotel with lovely pool and gardens.
I loved the privacy as there are only 22 cottages. The pool is very clean and deep. The gardens are beautiful with plenty of frangipani trees. I had a Superior room with a king size bed and TV. Free breakfast every day and a free shuttle into town. Close to restaurants, bars, clothing shops, beautician and convenient stores and money exchange/ATM. About a 10 minute stroll to beach.

Great place in the heart of Sanur
Lovely Balinese villas, pool, ok eatery with lovely outlook and really helpful responsive staff. Great price. Will return.

1st room we stayed in was awfully dark . dogs barking, roosters crowing, cats howling,.terrible night''.complained and was moved to 2nd cottage, it was closer to the street though, from7pm to well after midnight the Noise from 3 pubs on street, the music was full on. the water was cold for shower and dribbled . the breakfast was ,//crap. so after i week we moved elswere

Nice quiet hotel for the price
It was a nice stay in a quiet area, my first time in Sanua, but the hotel and grounds felt like Bali and the fish pond was a nice area to relax for breakfast.

I arrived at the hotel feeling really tired and the hotel manager had a very welcoming smile and went out of his way to help me to settle and solve any issues and concerns. I had and this continued throughout my stay

Quiet accomodation in a good area
The accomodation is dated but quite adequate. It is is a good position about 5 minutes walk to the beach. There are lots of restaurants and food places nearby and plenty of other shops. The staff were all helpful and freindly which helped created a relaxed atmosphere. The pool was good and centrally located. The breakfast was good.

Beautiful garden, but noisy!
Large traditional style rooms, on one level, set in beautiful gardens, with nice pool, but next to a busy road and a noisy nightclub which made for a poor nights sleep. Conversations easily heard in next doors bathroom due to side by side layout of rooms.

Affordable hotel, amazing location
We stayed in this hotel after a week in Java staying at backpackers hotels and guest houses. The staff were friendly and helpful, and 24 hour check in was great when our transfer was delayed and we arrived at 3am! Nothing is a problem for the staff and they deal with any issues very promptly although we sometimes felt that communication was poor. For example, the information given in the room says that beds will be turned down at 9am but this was never the case. If you want your room cleaned, towels changed etc you will need to leave your key with reception for the day when you go out. This wasn't really a problem but would be good to know from the start. Other issues we encountered were; an ant infestation in the bathroom, broken toilet (didn't flush), broken shower head, back door to the shower got stuck open, and no AC controller in the room. When we told staff about these most were fixed promptly, although not all permenantly. The bathrooms and bungalows in general could do with a bit more attention and higher cleanliness standards but the bungalows themselves are beautiful and given the price of the hotel compared to others in the area a few issues is unsurprising. You get what you pay for after all. Breakfast is included with your stay here and the food is ok but can become boring after a few days as there are only three options; Indonesian breakfast of noodles, American breakfast of toast, bacon,eggs, or a banana/pineapple pancake. The pool and garden areas are the real attraction of the hotel and are very well maintained. Perfect if, like us, you fancy a break from the beach. The beach is a 2 minute walk if anything and any number of shops, restaurants and beauty parlours are well withing striking distance. Despite the issues I have mentioned we actually extended our stay at the Sukun Bali Cottages by four nights as it was so well priced. Other hotels in the area are likely to be up to 5x the price and we felt we could overlook a few problems for such good value! We would stay here again.

great stay at budget hotel
We were dubious about how cheap this accommodation was but we were pleasantly surprised. Great location, quiet, lovely pool and grounds and amazingly helpful staff. We stayed in the superior room, close to the pool. Breakfast was a choice of 3 different basic meals. Plenty of nearby bars, restaurants, shopping, bike hire, many many cheap massage places, 7 minutes walk from the beach. Would definitely go back again. Ideal for couples and even groups of friends. Some people staying there were back for repeat visits, some were staying 2 - 3 weeks. Really good break.

We checked into the hotel after 9pm. The standard room was run down and have ants crawling along the wall. After complaining to the staff , they just took a broom to sweep it. The basin in the toilet has no water. When we ask for an additional bed, they gave us a stained mattress and placed it directly on the floor. In the end , I ended up sleeping on the single bed with my girl. The next morning . the maintenance guy came to turn on the tap. The water started to flow but then it could not be turned off. Some serious maintenance work & upgrading is required for this hotel. We are not happy with our stay.

A nice place to stay in Sanur
Sukun Bali Cottages is a a tranquil small "resort" just off the main road in Sanur. The staff are very friendly and the grounds are immaculate. A lovely pool amongst the trees, perfect to relax and look at the birds, plants and small cats running around. Very quiet during the day and at night the only annoying sound is of a night club (or something) from somewhere on the road behind the cottages, but it's not very loud. It's only a ten minute walk to the beach, but the beach was horrible and covered with rubbish which was disappointing. Some decent restaurants around and the food at Sukun was pretty good. Breakfast was great. The room itself was pretty dark and a bit dingy and the bathroom sink overflowed at one stage, thought the staff came and fixed that very quickly. They will also clean your room on request. The bed is comfy and there is a fridge which is great for storing cold drinks (it was bloody hot). Overall my stay was pretty good. I don't think I will go back to Sanur but i I had to for any reason I would consider staying here again.

A Balinese experience
The gardens and Balinese feel of the hotel make it worth the stay. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. The only drawbacks were the cold shower and rough bathroom. There was no trash can in the room either....frustrating when you need to floss your teeth! Haha

Very Friendly staff who were always happy to help. Only 5 minutes from the beach. There is a loud disco on the street outside, which seems to go on to 1 AM. This can be which can be a problem with some of the cottages. Other than that everything is great and would recommend without hesitation.

バリ島には年に何回も来ますが、今回は帰りの最後の日、1日だけの滞在しました。部屋も汚いし、シーツも汚い。スタッフはしつこく誘って来て二度と泊まりたくないホテル チェックアウトもそそくさとして早朝に出ました。

風呂に浸かれる湯温の高さ。フレンドリーなスタッフ。快適なベット。外出時でもエアコンの電源が落ちないので部屋は何時でも涼しい状態をキープできる。昼間でも部屋がかなり暗い、天井が異様に高い。3個あるロール式カーテンの開け閉めがめんどくさい。スイートルーム利用だったがスイートでは無い。部屋の鍵が硬くて不便。でも安い。

Отель имеет красивую ухоженную территорию, много растений и цветов. Бассейн с рыбами и бассейн для купания. Вечером с подсветкой. Завтрак на выбор 3 варианта (не шведский стол), фруктов не много, несколько кусочков на тарелке. Отель на 2 береговой линии, до пляжа около 10 минут. Шума дороги не слышно, в отеле тихо. Территория отеля не большая, около 20 домиков. Сантехника не очень, желателен ремонт.В номерах кондиционеры, полотенца и белье меняют каждый день. В целом отель понравился, хорошее соотношение цены и качества.

Die Hotelanlage liegt in ruhig unweit des Strands in einer sehr schönen Gartenanlage. Der Gesamteindruck ist sehr gut, alles wurde mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. So gibt es eine wunderschöne Koi Anlage im Restaurantbereich. Das Personal ist nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Manchmal wurden zwar die Handtücher vergessen, wurden aber nach gebracht. Zimmer im selben Bungalow sehr hellhörig.Jederzeit wieder

kans op geluidsverlast (verkeer, discotheek) afhankelijk welk kot je krijgt toegewezen, m.n. kot 108 is slecht. Na klacht kreeg ik een ander kot dat veel rustiger lag maar waar de aircon wat mankementen vertoonde. Badkamer is gedateerd. Heerlijk zwembad. Ontbijt is ok. ik vond uiteindelijk de mankementen minder belangrijk t.o.v. gebodene

Etter bytting av rom 2 ganger valgte jeg å betale ca .2000,-n.kr. og oppgraderte til suite, denne var meget bra, er kun 2 av disse på hotellet. Suiten kan absolutt anbefales. Flott hageannlegg. Alle fasiliteter i nærheten av Sukun.Hyggelig personale. Ser ut som resten av rommene trenger en oppgradering,men alt i alt et bra opphold

hôtel a 30 min de l aéroport, proche du centre ville et de la promenade sur le front de mer. une belle piscine centrale attention les bungalows se ferment avec un cadenas, ce qui en soit n est pas un problème mais peut surprendre, de ce faite la chambre n a pas été faite pendant les 4 jours de notre séjour

Veramente orribile vecchio e trasandato mio figlio aveva il materasso x terra e non c'era l'acqua calda il bagno al limite della decenza. Ho fatto solo una notte delle 8 previste!!!! Non si poteva stare peccato x ché il giardino è incantevole. Tutto da ristrutturare alla grande!!! Non potete classificare 3 stelle una struttura del genere!!!!

Het hotel is nog volop in bouw. Staat en onderhoud van het terrein is matig. Kamer was groot, maar daar was alles mee gezegd. Ik ben na inchecken direct bij de manager gaan klagen en vroeg om een bevriend hotel of anders. Zo kwam ik in Stana Puri Gopa terecht (vlgs mij van zelfde eigenaar) en dit was goed. Vriendelijke mensen, goede kamers, goed ontbijt enz. De betaling is op verzoek onderling geregeld. De manager van t eerste hotel begreep mij volledig.

Slecht onderhouden maar wel een leuke ligging
De bungalows zien er leuk uit alleen zijn erg slecht onderhouden, niet heel schoon en de badkamer viel bijna uit elkaar. Duur voor de kwaliteit die je krijgt. Wel goede ligging ten opzichte van de hoofdstraat van Sanur.

道路から入った路地にあるので非常に見つけにくい。 タクシーでも相当探した。 ロッジは古く、風呂の掃除も行き届いていなかった。
