The room wasn't exactly a pool view as I expected, we had a telegraph pole outside our window with a wall overlooking the staircase up to the level we were on. Trying to order certain drinks were unavailable as the ingredients were not there. We were close to all areas such as the beach, local stores etc.

Bad Stay. Unworthiness
The bed linens were so filthy and dirty, the bathroom was worst than a public bathroom, its all worn down and so extremely dirty, and smelly. Pls don't waste your money here.

Room was clean, Ac worked great, staff were very helpful and friendly, 5 min walk to the beach, less then that to all the restraints and stores but far enough off the beaten path that it is quiet at night. Pool could use some Fixen up but overall would def stay here again.

Hotel is very rundown in need of update and major repairs No hot water sink was patched up and no plug Very bad odour in bathroom tiles all lose on bottom of pool we had to replace room key three times and tv remote didn’t work Staff were very friendly and helpful

Average hotel ..... good location!
On arrival we were given a room which smelt of complete damp so we asked to move. We were then given a twin room instead of a double as we booked but this room was much bigger and fresher. Location was excellent and plenty to do on the doorstep e.g bars ... restaurants .. nightlife and shops. Free bottled water was given each day in the room. Pool area was beautiful and relaxing. The gardeners were always busy planting and cleaning the area. However lots of pool tiles were loose and could be dangerous especially for children. The shower was warm however had outbursts of boiling water so again be careful!

Rooms smelt of sewage but other than that great pool and great facilities. I got it for £7 a night so I couldn't complain really but the smell is a big problem.. wifi works in every room

Excellent hotel reasonably priced the staff were incredibly friendly especially Riska who couldn't do enough for you the pool was fantastic had a really good stay there and was close to everything

Nice hotel close to beach and all needs
Very lovely staff and helpful if anything needed. Breakfast is very basic, but not many people around at the moment in kuta so best not to waste food. A nice no frills hotel

great location
A few minutes walk to kuta square,beach and waterpark. Located at the calmer end of Kuta hotel is tired but nice enough only dislike was the in room towels they are old and smelly,pool towels much fresher.would stay here again.

Good location and value for money
I like the colors in the room, the location and it is value for money. An amazing, proactive hands on manager. I required medical care and she went out of her way to check on me as I was traveling alone and assisted to ensure I paid a reasonable price at the hospital. You regularly see the manager walking around keeping an eye on things and coaching staff. The exterior is a little tired. The sink is located outside of the bathroom, which is fine but I think they should provide soap and hand towel for the sink and also a small shelf to put your tooth brush on etc. However putting that to the side for a three star with good rates, it is a good value for money.

Ozz Hotel - Disappointing
Stayed here at the beginning of 2016 and loved it. This year we didn't love it. The staff are amazing. Can't complain about them. The linen was marked and worn and greyish. My son's room had a drainage smell that was very offensive and big marks and dents on his walls. His room had coffee making facilities but my room didn't for some reason. My son booked a 15 night stay and his room was near the service room so he was awoken every morning by the service staff. I was only there for 3 nights. On our last night a rat ran into his room. Rats are everywhere and everyone knows that Kuta has rats so no big deal really but when the service guys were getting it out it ran onto my son's foot and left two tiny teeth marks under his big toe. Not nice at all. Rat dropping were under his bed so they gave him another room. This room was so much better than his and than mine. With such a long stay they should have given him the best room from the start. On leaving they told us that the room he was in for the majority was marked for renovation!!!! Not at all happy. I think they should have refunded his entire money!!!!!

This was our third stay at the ozz hotel .We love the fact that it is so close to the beach and everything but is such a quiet little hotel.The rooms surround the pool so no long treks to your room if you forget something.The staff are lovely.The pool decking needs a lot of fixing and the rooms need a shelf for toiletries and shelves to put your undies etc and need more lights but we spoke to the manager Dewa who assured us that they are working on correcting these problems but it will take time .The beds are very comfortable and pillows good. Breakfast caters more to the Indonesian style so not the best but is adequate and the omelettes are good. We have been to Bali many many times and have stayed in many hotels all over Bali but We will definitely be back at the Ozz

Close to everything.
We had a great experience here, we booked this place at the end of our trip to basically relax. They have a nice sunny poolside. Pretty good food, great barbecue one night. Rooms have fridges and are very comfortable. There's also a DVD player in the room, and a movie shop right down the street. Staff were always very cheerful and prompt.

Quiet hotel yet close to central Kuta
My second stay at zodiac Ozz. Not flash at all but is quiet and secluded and very cheap. Staff are tremendous and breakfast was superb. Highly recommended for the budget traveller who wishes to spend time in Kuta. Waterbom park only 10 to 15 min walk.

Great hotel and location.
Great hotel, lovely and quiet even though so close to the centre. Only negative pool decking could do with some serious up keep as uneven in places and spots of rot. Few loose tiles in and out the pool.

A Chalet Standard Hotel
Besides being located in a good location, the other pros are the 50 available TV channels and a firm bed. The cons include cracked wall, bed sheet that made my skin itched, absence of shampoo and coffee/tea making facility & being awaken before 6 am daily as my room was next to the hotel's housekeeping room. I doubt I will ever stay in this hotel again.

Room was extremely musty. Smelled of mold. Security guard insisted on helping carry my bag (which had wheels) a whopping 10 meters and then insisted on a tip. Very impertinent.

The staff was lovely! They accommodated my early checkout and made sure I had breakfast! The room was okay. The bathroom smelled a bit like urine, but I just kept the door closed. It's a good spot if you're intending to stay 1-2 nights or need a place to crash for a late / early flight, but I wouldn't stay any longer.

Great value for the price
Hotel were great. Changed our rooms from upstairs to down on request and because of availability. 1 room mum and dad 2nd room brother and sister. What a great location. Gave it a 5 rating for what it is. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel staff is thoughtful and make our honeymoon stay in this hotel memorable. Many thanks to the hotel management for this. It's a pity that the room appear dimmer. If the lights are brighter, it will be better. Same applies to the swimming pool too, needs brighter light.Hotel location is ok, there are warung around it and near to Kuta beach.

My stay was alright. Small hotel with pool in centre. Pool was nice. Room is quite small with absolutely no storage. Shower sprayed out instead of down. Room was kept clean during stay. Just to let you know there is a shortcut to Main Street which I did not find out about for some time. Saves a lot of walking. Hard for taxis to find. Overall okay and close to Kuta.

quiet hotel
Hotel was a little hard to find as it is located in the center of the block (i.e. not on one of the main roads in Kuta). This is a plus because the hotel was very quiet despite being in a very crowded area.

Good modern style hotel
Good location, close to beach and restaurants. Modern style hotel, so the room was a bit noisy. Heard staff doing there early morning jobs and the few loud patrons by the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good buffet breakfast if a bit slow with the food coming from the kitchen

Really nice hotel. Nice pool, nice staff, around the corner from all the shops and restaurants and bars & the beach. Staff are really helpful. Breakfast was good, toast eggs, fried rice noodles & hash browns with tea coffee and juices. Good wifi connection. Would stay again.
