“Would stay there again”
My wife and I are the types who use a hotel as a place to sleep and (sometimes) eat, so as long as there is a comfortable bed and tea-making facilities, we are fairly happy. On the former, the bed was excellent. On the latter, we ended up borrowing a kettle and cups from a friend (Balinese). Unfortunately there was nothing in the hotel guide (in the room) to tell you this. In fact, the hotel guide just gave us the room service menu and prices. The staff were helpful - We could have asked for a kettle and cups, but we had sorted the issue ourselves by then. Breakfast was included in our accommodation cost - We had a choice of Indonesian, American or European breakfast. We always chose American because it gave use the most to last the day on. Quality of the food was fine. I cannot write about the other items, as we never had lunch or dinner there. As a low-cost place to stay, I would recommend it, and we would definitely stay there again.
“gotta love bali”
Hotel is located down a small alley that is a bit dirty but then the entrance is clean and welcoming and almost majestic compared to it's surroundings. We were greeted with very friendly and helpful staff who spoke good enough english for us not to have many communication problems. We enjoyed welcoming and happy encounters with the rest of the staff throughout our stay. My wife had a massage around the corner at ayu spa and the price was right. I had a massage with a nice older lady that comes to the hotel but was not satisfied at all and her price was double what the spa's charge, then for the next couple of day's she was very pushy to get more business. Best if you just have nice conversation with her and don't show any interest in her massage. The beach was a close walk from the hotel with all amenities close by. The pool was lovely and kept very clean and the gardens are peaceful and well maintained. You can keep valuables at the office in some locked boxes they have, not the most secure but watched by the desk staff which is better than leaving stuff in your room as all the cleaning staff have master keys for rooms. Service and food was great, breakfast supplied. My family and I highly recomend this for a very nice and affordable stay. Thanks. Bring your own sunscreen!!! it is hard to get zinc or any other good stuff and what is here is expensive
“Completely recommandable”
A little remote from the main area where the tourist are, but everything was easaly accessible. Like most places in Indonesia, staff was very friendly and helpfull.
“A GREAT QUIET LITTLE HOTEL IN A JUST AVERAGE LOCATION”
Exceptionally freindly hotel staff. Unusually all the room maids are Male \ Men!! The restaurant food is very good - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Watch the 21% Tax & Service charge the hotel adds on ( everywhere else outside = Just 10% Tax. ) Hotel is a littel run down and needing some maintenance, Rooms were not 'spotless' maybe Men do not make the best cleaners of dust etc!! The hotel is down a slightly 'dodgy' looking walkway, but rest assured the walkway is safe and once inside the hotel it is very very quiet and private location. We found Sanur boring - it's not tourist busy here. If there was once complaint I have ot make about the hotel it is NO International Satellite TV stations ( Music, News or Films ) etc Stay here and Enjoy - we did ......
“good to stay if you allways travel through Bali”
Good hotel for this room price. You will not be satisfied if you will stay all time in it. If you goiing to travel in Bali region and hotel just place to sleep and to take some sun bath - it is good choice. Nice, friendly staff. Nearest but not clean beach in 5 min by foot.
“will go back to bali and use this hotel”
the only thing missing for australians is 1 tv channel with possibly australian news would be good. felt very safe at this hotel
“Comfortable, quiet & conveniently located”
Rooms are good sized, clean and comfortable with all the basic facilities including air conditioning & tv. Situated up a quiet side street, the hotel is within 5 mins easy walk to the beach, shops, markets and a wide choice of restaurants, from cheap take aways to top class dining. Staff are really friendly and go out of their way to help with any queries or problems, and can help with tour bookings or recomendations. Nice restaurant on site, reasonable breakfast choices. Good sized outdoor pool which is kept clean & tidy.
“Canadian Traveler”
This hotel is not located where the map shows it to be. It is located 60 yards down the first street [alley] on the left as you turn onto Hang Tuah from the freeway from the airport. This street [alley] is located directly across the Hang Tuah from the rather impressive front gates to the Inna Grand Bali Beach Hotel. Hint, the hotel is required by law to charge a 21% service charge plus a 20% tax on top of that. The restaurants and tour sellers on the street do not have these charges. So, even the worst hagglers usally do better buying these services on the street.
“Highly recommend!”
This hotel has a great staff. All of your needs and requests are responded to immediately. We would definetly use this hotel on a future vist. It's not on the beach. but on the sanur side of the island the beach is not great for swimming anyway. The pool is a good size and beautiful. All your needs are withing walking distance. We were not uncomfortable walking down the small road to the hotel during the day or night.
