“Lovely break”
We loved our short break at the Melia. The location was perfect for us, the beach setting is beautiful no beach sellers. Shopping was only a short walk away. The staff were very friendly, the food great and the beach activities they arranged every day were fun.
“Good stay, relax and enjoy”
It is a good place to stay. We had a lagoon room with access to pool, that was great. Breakfast was good, good choice. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The hotel provided a good entertaning program every night. There is also a big Mall with restaurants and shops in a few minutes walk. The hotel is located at the beach site. The beach is clean. We enjoyed our dinner at the sunset. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.
“Really enjoyed our stay, so relaxing and everything we needed was in the hotel.”
Everything was catered for, even halloween, really enjoyed our stay, the atmosphere was so comfortable and our major reason for our holiday was a rest and we did rest. The restaurants were all lovely, day spa was amazing and the pools catered for all. Highly recommend for anyone travelling.
“Great Family Hotel”
Great hotel in a lovely location - highly recommended with kids. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever seen. Only downside is the cab charges from the hotel but easy enough to walk out the gate and get a cab out the front for half the price. Fantastic holiday.
“Friendly and Comfortable”
This was our third visit to Bali, having stayed at an hotel in Sanur on the last two occasions. The hotel was exceptionally friendly, clean and well organised with extremely good food in all of the restaurants and bars, with prices that were fair. We were made to feel at home and all the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. A couple staying at the vastly more expensive hotel next door spent their evenings at the Melia with us because it was so much more friendly. Am going back as soon as time will allow.
“Very Beautiful Resort!”
This is a beautiful resort on a very quiet beach. I would definitely stay here again. The buffet breakfast was very good. I loved the banana pancakes. The hotel is expensive for lunch and dinner. We ate lunch a couple of times by the pool because we were hungry but never had dinner. The Bali Collection is next door so went there every night for dinner. You won't see many people having dinner there. I think the spa was hurting for customers as they come up to you all the time to get you to book. There are plenty of other spas outside of Nusa Dua. I recommend Tamara Spa. We went 2 times. I would say Melia Bali was nicer than the Westin and other hotels from what I saw walking around.
“Melia Bali”
This is our third time to Bali and our third time to Melia. Each visit we walk the beach and explore the resort options and for the price....Melia is where we always end up. That said, I would classify them as good, but not great.
“so good to bee true”
It was really one of the best hotels i have ever been. You feel like a king from the hospitality and the filoxenia for those who know this word. The only issue i have is that we were there on 12 of August and every day the ocean moved 3 km far inside from 16:00 until the next morning. And when you had the water in front of you you couldnt swim very well due to the depth. I am wondering that this is a good chance for those who have small children to learn them swim.
“Great hotel but Superior Rooms smell of damp.”
The hotel is beautiful but the Superior Room allocated had a strong smell of damp when we checked in. Was shown a second room after complaining but that also smelt of damp. Had to wait for 6 hours to be shown a 3rd room that still had some smell but masked by air freshner. We were offered an upgrade but at additional cost which seemed unfair as there standard rooms are not fit to stay in. Overall hotel was great, even if it was very overpriced for food and drinks, but if you are going to stay here make sure you upgrade from their cheapest room as this seemed to be a problem for all their superior rooms due to their location on the ground floor.
“Would be one of the best in Nusa Dua.”
Staff and service ten out of ten. Meals great. Beach and pool areas well mantained. Rooms modern and very clean. Management constantly seeking feedback to see if everything okay. Could not fault this well run complex.
