Everything about this hotel was an absolute pleasure. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! My daughter and I took a much needed 7 day break, staying at Maya Ubud Resort and Spa for the entire time. We really didn't need to leave the resort and only did so to shop in the city centre and to experience some of the local restaurants.
The gardens were delightful, the yoga pavilion and the yogis were delightful, and the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning for another stay at this wonderful place.

Wonderful hotel with great facilities, such friendly helpful staff, delicious food. Couldn't fault anything.
Just a short 10 minute taxi ride into Ubud central or catch the free hotel shuttle bus every hour.
It was our first time to Bali so I cannot comment on other areas or other hotels but we were very happy with the Pan Pacific experience. The grounds were immaculate; it wasn't too busy meaning that we could enjoy the bars, restaurants and ocean-front Cabanas without crowds of people. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort has a beautiful golf course, decent gym, spa and plenty of dining options. I would note that it took us over an hour to get there from the airport so this should be factored into travel plans.
Check-in experience was excellent. staff are very informative of the hotel amenities & offered benefits. high level of cleanliness all over the resort. Food in hotel restaurants is really good and diverse, but the only thing is that the restaurant staff starts preparing for closing an hour before the actual time of closing which made me felt unwelcome in some cases especially if arriving at 10 pm for dinner & closing time is at 11 pm.
Cleanliness of the beach could be better and more taken care of but in general it's not considered dirty. Daily activities are available though out the week (a gentle reminder would have been nice) for more personalized experience. The beach lounge is to die for, I loved feeling pampered & enjoyed doing my reading over there.
The spa was great except for the music.. it was just a 2 minutes track that was repeated over & over again which could be irritating if you are booked for 2 hours session. I have asked the staff in the spa to turn the music off and enjoyed the outdoor sounds of birds and sea waves and wind breeze. welcome drink is a refreshing cold sweetened ginger (not suitable for diabetics & there is no other alternative except for water) oils are amazing along with all the spa products.
I highly recommend the Grand Nikko hotel in Bali to couples, alone travelers & families.
