The room was lovely ,pool was very clean . Service was great . Breakfast was good . A little bit far from everything but great if you just want to relax . A few minor things that could be repaired like blind in room was missing slats . Just small things that let down a beautiful room . But overall very happy .

The property is par excellent in all ways. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The private pool also was very clean and well maintained including the garden. Its full privacy at the private pool villa . We also enjoyed our private pool and villa decorations with flowers as it was our first wedding anniversary. The dinner served on the occassion was superb and it was a evening to remember. Above all special thanks to Dayu who took great care of me and my wife and made us feel very comfortable. Will be visiting again with my family very soon.

We had great time at this villa on our honeymoon trip organized by our Travel Agency Sushma Enterprises and everything was planned perfectly and excellent.

Not the best villa
Bali is a place where I visit every year with my wife and we will pick private pool villa for our accomodation. Lavender villa is considered one of the poor villa I have stayed. The villa is poorly located which the nearest convenient store is a distance away. Room is big but does not come with a small kitchen. Room is infested with mosquitoes. The side gate that leads to kuta beach is closed at 11pm which is quite a walk to the front gate. The spa service is very pricey.

Great hotel with karaoke at doorstep!!
Loved to room which had a two person spa - jets weren't working however they promptly fixed it. Service and food is great- same with location! Will be staying here again

Own pool was best asset.
Nothing flash about room, very basic, old bathroom and toilet. The large bath took too long to be filled up, it also had the spa jets but did not work, very disappointed about that. Mosquitos everywhere. Glad had mossie net over bed and coils provided. The aircon I think was on its last legs. Head reception lady was wonderful!! All other staff were 'ok'. Food very basic. I think we were the only English speaking people there. Owner is Korean, so many Korean guests. Was on main airport road although was far enough back that we did not hear traffic noise. Photos included are the best looking of the room.

Location, location.
The hotel itself and the staff I generally had no problem with. My only issue with the room was the lack of water pressure and hot water. My biggest issue is with the location. It is situated right on the extremely busy bypass which is even busier now cause they are building a new underpass. A taxi from the hotel took me at least an hour during the day and 2 hours during peak. That was after waiting 30-40 minutes for it If you want to go to legian, Kuta etc every day this is not the hotel for you as the transport issue, which is no fault of the hotel, does get frustrating day after day

Good hotel if you need somewhere close to the airport. Our party of 7 arrived very late at night but were made welcome. It's on a busy road, however once inside the hotel you don't hear any traffic noise. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, cheap room for the night then it ticks all these boxes. If you are looking for a room with a view, this is not the hotel for you! The restaurant is open 24hrs and has a reasonable menu on offer.

Lavender Luxury Villas and Spa
This hotel is not close to Kuta Beach at all. Much less walking distance. Lots of construction work going on the road in front of it so forget going out for a walk. Got a room on the third floor and no elevator. The stafff was helpful and friendly, like all Balinese. Lots of surf oultets close by is the only plus.

We found the hotel a lot better than some 5stars we have been in. The staff were always helpful and accomodating. The room was always kept clean and air rated yes a beautiful stay would reccomend it to any of our friends. Also loved the buffet breakfasts.

Extremely poor Hotel stay in Bali
The holiday started off badly as we arrived at Bali airport at round about 5.00am and noone from the hotel to meet us as per arrangement. After several calls and another 3 hour wait, we were picked-up after 08.00am. Arriving at the hotel we could only book in after 2.00pm and were not even offered water to drink. We left our suitcase and took a stroll through Kuta on arriving back at the hotel after 2.00pm we could only get one of the rooms and had to wait for another 2 hours plus before we could get the 2nd room. The cleanliness of both rooms were dreadful and the bathrooms were really bad with nowhere to put your vanity or hang towels, it had to be placed on the floor. There were no showers just a showerhead over the bath, which was an oval bath in the centre of the room, without any shower curtain to keep the water from flooding the floor which in turn flooded your vanity and towels and clothing. After complaining to the Duty manager it was said that they would upgrade us to other rooms, these rooms however were exactly the same as the previous. We then decided to cancel our booking but still had to pay for rooms that were not what were advertised, dirty and that we did not even use. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as further there is a stinking sestput of a river flowing through the hotel grounds, which could be smelled from anywhere in the grounds.

5 star luxury at 3 star price :)
i went to bali for my honeymoon :) lavender was the 1st hotel i stayed in.. pure luxury... very very very clean rooms.. beautiful bathtub.. the shower area and the toilet were a serious let down though.. the flush doesnt work most of the time.. but the swimming pool in our room, the private pagaoda, the dining table.. it was all the just gorgoeus :) the spa is also reasonably priced.. do check it out :)

my opinion
generally it's good to put your head and get off morning , it's near to kuta beach and shopping center about 20 minutes walking , quality of service is not good at all the restaurant it out of building when you order somethings to eat or drink it comes after long time (meals not hot drink not cold ). there's no any romantic feeling in this hotel and no any entertainment activities also no things to make you sit down in the lobby . really it's different from the photo in the web site . furniture is old . anyway it's good for less budget .breakfast is too poor i didn't eat anything for all my days here 9 nights

The Lavender claims to be a 3 star, Expedia puts it as a 4. We had no shower curtain, broken airconditioner and then blocked drains. Had to shift rooms whist repairs were done. Hotel offer an airport shuttle but had NO idea of flight details so it was a long hot wait for a pick up. Staff were excellent.

We started out in a regular room which was ok but the shower temperature was terrible. We eventually upgraded to a pool villa and it was worth every penny and if we went back we would just automatically book one from the outset. It was beautiful and amazing to stay in one of those and nice not to have to share the pool. The staff were pleasant and willing to help all the time, though some of them struggle to understand English fully. All in all the hotel was lovely to stay at, it has a restaurant and an in house day spa, a billiard bar and karaoke lounge. Enjoyed our time there and would recommend to others

We changed hotels after a few days with no refund due to the shower not having hot water and the water pressure leaving much to be desired... Also went to have a swim in the pool, attempted to get a drink and some towels, no staff to serve at all. When the staff did arrive it took them half an hour to hand us a coke and a beer (in bottle)??? Not very helpful at all.

Very friendly service. Restaurant has no atmosphere (so we did not try), but breakfast was good enough. No nice restaurants in neighbourhood. Location is not very good for that, better come/go by car. Only one pc for internet (with printer, but did not work). With last day return booking the room was full and got a wonderful upgrade to on of the villa's. These are specially worth while. Japonees interior super deluxe, with own swimming pool. Thanks for that!

Westerns do not bother.
This hotel is not for westerns. By saying that the majority of the people staying there are of Asian nationality. The breakfast was cold every morning. The eggs were never cooked all the way through. Sometimes there was no towels by the pool. This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. I have stayed in a 3.5 star hotel in Bali and that was so much better then this one. If it is a 4 star there should be safes in the rooms. The bath was old and there was constantly ants in the bathroom. Some days we got hand towels some days we didn't. We were moved cos the toilet blocked up twiced and the staff were nice especaially the security guards and the shuttle guys that drove into Kuta. The internet worked sometimes. The hotel is in the middle of a main road and trying to cross it is like taking your life into your own hands. The hotel did offer 3 shuttles to Kuta at 9am, 1pm and 5pm and then one day cancelled the 5pm one saying the traffic was bad but the taxi driver got in ok. The staff where friendly but the rooms especially the bathroom looked tired. The hotel is not as close to the beach or Kuta as it says and it took 20 to walk from the bottom of the main street in Kuta back to the hotel. For being so far away from the Kuta there was no other form of entertainment. No pool bar, mind you there was not many people who used the pool. It lacked atmosphere. But in saying that the rooms were cleaned every day and neat. You got two bottles of water each day but this hotel is not a 4 star.

Staff are great but hotel rooms need new airconditioners and location is to far to walk to beach/legian st. Tourist coaches drop off tourist's at 6:30-7:00 for breakfast and wake up guests with people stomping and kids running down corridors. Wifi is also intermitant.

Hotel Lavender in Kuta
The Hotel was quite nice, the Deluxe Room was good and spacious. It did bother us that our room was near a storage room or sth and it was quite loud at sometimes, esp. in the morning. The Breakfastbuffet was quite okay. The Location is about 2 km from the Kuta Beach. But you can reach it in about 15-20 Min with the Taxi, so not a problem there.

Staff are nice, place is clean, but definitely not a 4 star hotel, it is close to 2.5 star. Hotel is close to airport but far from where the action is (Kuta) that is why they offer free pick-up to and from airport. Free wi-fi and has 2 pc for people to use. Breakfast is not bad but basic. Room is big and bed is good. Bathtub/shower is old and water keeps going hot and cold, no consistent temperature. Room only has cabinet for clothes to hang, no drawers to put your small things like undies/shorts. Air-con not working properly, cold on first 20 minutes and then the room becomes warm. Didn't try their restaurant for lunch or dinner due prices are exorbitant, you can get more delicious and half price eats in Kuta or in Galleria Mall which is close by. Hotel has 3 scheduled shuttle going to Kuta Beach at 9am, 1 & 5 pm drop off only. Mostly Asians especially Koreans are booked here. Hotel is on the main road but quiet. Their Hotel Spa package is very expensive, we had ours in Bali Orchid Spa which is a very nice place for half their asking price with free pick-up and drop-off from hotel.

wonderful helpful staff but I found the hotel too far from Kuta on a busy highway and a taxi needed to be called all the time and I spent on average 420-$30 a day on taxis ferrying me back and forth. The room was a little disappointing for the price,the pool was lovely,the breakfast was fine. Guests were mainly Japanese couples.Not ideal for a person traveling on their own,no one really by the pool so nowhere to mix.

The hotel is located in Patong Beach area which is central to everything. Beach is very close by (15 mins walk). There's lots of shopping and variety of restaurants in walkable distance. The best thing about the hotel was, our flight was in the night and after we checked out in the morning we left out luggage at the hotel and went around town and came back and they provided us a room to take shower. Have never found this kind of a service in other hotels.

Modest Budget Hotel, Excellent Service/Staff
The staff at Lavender is wonderful and accommodating. The hotel is well maintained and cleaned although some of the premises could still use refurbishment. A good place to stay if you're on a budget. Basic free breakfast included. No wireless in rooms but free internet in a lounge. The location of the hotel is not the most desirable (you need to taxi to Kuta Beach for 10 minutes) but there are basic groceries and a big local mall called the Galleria that has restaurants and such. This is within 10 min. walking distance. Overall, though, excellent service. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool.
