Lovely hotel with fantastic grounds....

Posted 24-Jul-2014
Pros: We liked everything about this hotel!
Cons: We couldn't find fault....... maybe a swim-up pool bar might be nice.
Location: Much preferred Nusa Dua to Legian and Kuta, and the beach was nicer to. Toll road now open, so easy to reach other places eg. WaterBomb Park etc
Just returned from 5 nights at the Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua and would highly recommend it. This was our first time at Nusa Dua having spent 2 previous holidays in Legian and we much preferred the calmness of Nusa Dua. We are a family of 4, with 2 kids aged 10yrs and 14yrs - all of whom enjoyed the stay. The hotel was lovely, and the grounds gorgeous. Large grounds and quite spread out, but we liked this as we never felt crowded or swamped by people. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of cuisine to try, and we ate at the Italien restaurant a couple of time which was also good. Every staff member we encountered was helpful, smiley and polite. The pool(s) area was lovely as was the beach, and the spa just wonderful although quite expensive! We were housed in the West wing which suited us, probably a little further to the pool/beach but nearer to the shopping centre which also has ample restaurants and bars to try. Will defintely be back for another holiday!

Excellent Stay at Grand Haytt - Nusa Dua -Bali

Posted 06-May-2014
Pros: Great location and Hospitality.
Cons: The Breakfast menu was limited for Vegetarians and could do better with having at least one vegetarian dish.
Location: The Hotel is located near Bali collection. Vegetarian resturants such as Queens Tandoor and Indian Dhaba are also accessible via shuttles and Taxis.
The tour desk was helpful but found the tours priced much higher than what we could arrange by hiring a Taxi. Coincerge was very helpful and the Hotel staff was very prompt in responding to our queries/ requirements. The Swimming pool has great landscaping and rides. The Salsa Bar was an awsome expereince.

best resort hotel I have stayed in

Posted 07-Apr-2014
Location: Kuta beach is 25 minutes away by car and this is where to go for surfing and boogey boarding.
I visited in the first week of April 2014 and statyed 5 days with my family including 2 young kids. The facilities are very well maintained, stylish and have a nice ambience, fitting the location. Our room was very comfortable and appropriate size and amenities. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The water slide in one of the pools provides entertainment for the kids. Restaurants are high quality although the pricing of the Japanese restaurant "Nampu" is excessive.

Great relaxing family holiday!

Posted 01-Feb-2014
Pros: Location, expansive grounds, pools, great service and range of food and beverage facilities plus on the beachfront. Didn't want to leave the resort!
Location: You've got the beachfront for cycling, water sports and walking. Bali Collection for shopping and more restaurants if don't want to travel too far.
Gorgeous, expansive grounds with pools, ponds and walkways weaving to a great range of facilities - pools, health spas, restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping village, water slides.

Excellent Hotel - Full Recommendation

Posted 27-Jan-2014
Location: The location is excellent. Resort pools and beach access is fantastic. Has Bali Collections shops across the road for any shopping.
We are a family of five with 3 teenage daughters. Loved the resort, stayed in many other 5 star hotels/resorts in Bali, but this one is at the top of the list. Location, quality of food, beach, rooms and facilities are no less than 5 star quality.

Christmas & New Year Holiday

Posted 12-Jan-2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is ok but lacking of some seoul as it is very big and the staff was overwhelmed by the masses of guests. Given the high price and outdated interior the room was overpriced. Also the beach was not as clean as I would expect it. The one outstanding point is the spa; it was spectacular.
