“I'm impressed.”
I will definitly stay here again, I won't stay anywere else, this is the best place i found in bakersfield, i go there twice a month and i been staying in different places, but this place is the best one. price and eerything else.
“would use again”
great convenient stop off on route to Las Vegas
“Decent price. Kids stay free. Nice TV.”
No laundry facilities or swimming pool. Breakfast is very skimpy. If they run out of cereal, you won't get any more put out for you. Encouraged me to book directly through them so that they wouldn't have to pay a commission to Expedia.
“Surprisingly awesome!”
The proprieters of this hotel were extremely friendly and willing to help meet our needs. The room was pretty nice, and it had a fairly comfortable bed, fridge and a microwave. It also had wi-fi. You can't beat this hotel for the price!
“Decent”
The place was clean and the breakfast was o.k. It consisted of a honey bun and some cereal. The clientele seemed nice. The only thing was that they guy gave us a key to somebody else's room at first.
“Nice facility, but...”
The front desk was unhelpful and, honestly, creepy. I think they live back there. It wasnt in the best location, but I have seen worse. I will say that the room itself was very nice, but getting to that point was the main issue.
“Great Find in Bakersfield”
The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside - If I had not researched it first, I probably would have driven right by without stopping - but the rooms are very nice. I was very impressed with how comfortable the bed was and how nice the furnishings and large bathroom were. I would definitely stay there again. The hotel staff was freindly and curtious and very willing to help. Great hotel in Bakersfield.
“Nice rooms, odd location”
I stayed two nights at this hotel on a recent business trip. The rooms were nice, spacious, clean and looked like they had recently been remodeled. The room I stayed in had a large flat screen TV but the remote only worked if you were standing close to the unit. The desk personnel were polite but not overly so. Now for the odd bit... First, this hotel is in a weird location. It can be seen from the I-99 freeway but you have to go approx 1/2 mile out of your way to get to it. Second, the parking and building setup is very different. There is no access from the sides or back of building. So...all the parking is in the front and there is only one entrance in the front. I happened to get a room in the front of the building so it wasn't too bad but if you were in the back rooms you would have to walk a bit. Basically, it is one long building squeezed between two others and the only way to get in is through the front. The view from the window is the wall of the building next door. I would recommend this hotel for a thrifty business traveler but not for a vacationing family.
