We only spent one night here and we were very pleased. Though the freeway is close we found the room to be very quiet. The staff was friendly, helpful and considerate. We will book here for our next visit.

it was a surprise to not have housekeeping for two night stay. cafe is overpriced. waited for too long for someone to come to the counter for order. nice seating areas in lobby. the room itself was fine. would appreciate upgrade of in room coffee to keurig or similar, also microwave in room should be pretty standard at this price of room. wish i had stayed at the Padre instead because downtown is more interesting than motel alley, but it's still bakersfield. it was a nice touch to have the hot chocolate in the lobby.
