“Definitely would go back, staff are extremely pleasant and helpful”

This hotel is rated 2 star in Mauritius, this is no way 2 star at least 4 star English rated. Staff are extremely helpful and very polite. Going to Bain Boef? stay at the coin de mire.

“Quiet, pleasant, very good service”

We stayed one week at the hotel at half board. We are very satisfied with the hotel service, the conditions are good and the garden is very beautiful and well-maintained. The food is tasty and varied. Services at additional costs are offered, such as trips to interesting locations, yacht trip with snorkeling and others. We went to the yacht trip and the snorkeling was an extraordinary and memorable experience. However, the drinks are costly and of inferior quality. In general, it was a very relaxing, quiet and pleasing holiday.

Area recommendations
There is nothing of interest in the close neighborhood, but there is a regular bus service to Grand bay and other villages, which can offer some entertainment or shopping.
Getting around
We rented a car to see other places of interest on the island. The roads are narrow and crowded, but in good condition. Just passing through Port Louis on the highway takes about 1-1.5h due to traffic jams. Outside the highway there are not signs, so it is difficult to know your location. Distances are short, but because roads are passing numerous population centers, you drive 40-60km/h at average.
Outdoors or beach
The hotel’s location does not offer many outdoor activities, but I enjoyed going to the beach and swimming. The hotel beach is small but not crowded and well kept (beach towels provided). The swimming conditions are not so good; there are rocks, when entering the water. However, if you take a 10-15min walk along the beach in direction to Grand bay, you will discover a lovely small sandy beach with quiet turquoise water – excellent.

“friendly hotel just not the best location”

very friendly staff, rooms comfortable and clean. We however were not so keen on the food, and the nearest places to eat are about 20-25 minutes walk away.

“Ein toller Service!”

Das Hotel Coin de Mire ist ein Juwel. Es bietet geräumige und geschmackvoll gestaltete Zimmer. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Besonders das Personal ist sehr umsichtig und freundlich, sowohl an der Rezeption, bei der Zimmerpflege, wie auch im Service (Restaurant). Es ist absolut zu empfehlen, wenngleich die Lage (direkt an der Straße und kein so wunderbarer Strand) nicht ganz ideal ist.

“trés bien!!!”

Je recommande vivement cet hôtel, trés bien entretenu propre chambres spacieuse. le personnel est trés gentil, serviable. proche de grand baie( pour les adeptes qui aiment sortir le soir) mais aussi grand nombre de magasins. bref presque parfait ,le point négatif pour ma part est le buffet restauration car il manque de produits locaux méme si il est très garni je trouve dommage de proposer des spécialité d'autre pays quand on a un repertoire culinaire comme l'ile maurice.

“Enttäuschendes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis”

Enttäuschendes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis vor allem, weil in der Anlage parallel Umbau- und Erweiterungsmaßnahmen durchgeführt wurden, die den Interessen eines Erholungssuchenden diametral entgegengesetzt stehen. Leider war auch der Service der Saison angepasst: "low".
