“Great location, Good hotel services, competitive cost coupled with enterntainment facilities”

Location is extreamly good, Food is available upto 3.00 am, Live & entertainment area. Rates are really suberb, breakfast offers reasonably wide selection. Staff of the hotel is extreamly helpful. Various clubs within the hotel makes you to relax. Will stay again.

“Bit worn out, but has a great atmosphere”

Good: the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful on all occasions, the rooms are spacious, the breakfast is good. Lunch buffet is quite nice too, and is very reasonably priced. Free airport shuttle service is included. Bad: everything is a bit old, they could do with some renovation. Some rooms might be noisy because of the clubs downstairs - mine was fortunate to be on the other side of the hotel. Rooms are a bit dark, could do with more powerful lights installed. Chinese ladies offering sex services could be a bit unexpected, however, those are by no means insisting. Summary: if you're on business - great place for the price, excellent location - will certainly stay there again, despite of its minor shortcomings. If you're on romantic holiday - I'd suggest looking elsewhere though. BTW, a word of advice: Internet access is sold at 5BD per day there, and it's not even wireless. You may find yourself much better off buying a prepaid SIM with 3G from one of the local mobile operators. Batelco offers 1Gb for 1 day at just 1BD, and the quality is excellent.

“This is our 4 visit there with my wife and want to come back again.”

Excellent amenities and the Dig it wonderfull with the Circa 5 Band!!!

“Great for the open minded. Not for the faint of heart.”

This is a perfectly fine hotel. The staff is wonderful. They give you free airport transfers. They try really hard. However, people who are used to the overly sanitized world of Western chain hotels might be a little freaked out by this place. If you are one of those types, then I would advise you to stay away. Also, if you have children, I'd probably look elsewhere. However, for those who like to spice up their life with an interesting or peculiar experience, I highly recommend the Delmon. It's just so oddly entertaining. From the bar where Saudi men watch belly dancing to Diggers where single guys will have loads of adoring Thai and Chinese women eager for "companionship." Hey, whatever! I travel to get outside my boring, American comfort zone, and in this regard, the Delmon International Hotel hits a grand slam!

“Good value, and comfortable stay”

Nice clean hotel room, in the center of city to allow me to explore the area in the short overnight visit. Hotel staff will ask for your passport. There is no Govt regulation requiring this so insist that you want to keep it. Slightly loud with the band below, but with the a/c fan on, could not hear it. Delicious breakfast and free shuttle to airport.

“Value for money”

Good location. Ample breakfast. A bit old fashioned but quite clean and comfortable. No internet in room but two PCs available in cafe. Could hear the disco from our room but not really disturbing. Airport transfers when we wanted them. Overall a pleasant three days.

Other
Al Dar Island is well worth a visit. Try the mixed fish platter.

“Good location but very dated.”

We were collected from the airport as requested and checked into the hotel easily. The hotel is old and in desperate need of a revamp-we didn't even bother going in the pool becuase it looked like it had been their since the 70's and wasn't particularly inviting looking. However the hotel is in a fab location and we were just after a place to sleep for four nights so wern't too fussed. The rooms are large and clean although dated. There was a drip the was coming down from the roof and landing on the end of our bed but by the time we noticed we had unpacked everything and couldn't be bothered asking to change rooms. The location is fab and it is walking distance to all the main sites in Manama. I would not recommend this to a family as at night the lobby/bars/restaurant fills up with Thai/Phillipino prostitutes and the dodgy men both Arab and Western looking for their services.

“Disapointed”

we were mostly disapointed for the fact the Bar called Diggers was more than full of Asian women on the game, it was over the top and totaly indisgreet, i felt i was in Bangkok where that is common not in a hotel bar in Bahrain.
