Nice hotel with friendly staff

A bit expensive for a Econolodge. But all the hotels in the area are expensive. Very clean, comfortable, rooms, with a friendly responsive staff.

Worn & rickety

Posted 01-Jul-2014
Pros: It was conveniently located, the bed was comfortable & the refrigerator worked.
Cons: How about a little maintainence?
Location: Badlands Bar was bad food & beverages. Staff was out of the movie "Deliverance". Ate in Red Rock Restaurant; average food at best, bad salad bar too
My first impression was the stucco wall outside our room; chipped off down to the wire mesh underneath. Sink was cracked & discolored. Bathroom towel rack was loose from the wall & wobbley. When the toilet plugged it overflowed onto the floor because the wall mounted shutoff valve was rusted in place; it wouldn't budge, so the water just poured out. It was most likely not the first time because the floor between the toilet & shower was sunken and most likely rotted under the vinyl flooring. On the upside, the bed was comfortable.

Badlands Visit - Wall Drug

Posted 17-Jun-2014
Pros: Convenient to our destination-Badlands. Breakfast was sufficient.
Cons: Better Wi-Fi availability/connection.
Location: Perfect location for our destination of Badlands and Wall Drug. Skip Red Rock Restaurant-VERY disappointing.
The hotel was conveniently close to our Badlands destination but is nothing fancy. The breakfast was nice, the pool was heated and was a good temperature. Wi-Fi did not work at all for us in our room but we were able to connect while outside.

Overnight Experience

Posted 21-May-2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable and pleasant staff
Cons: Address availability
Location: Overnight stay only
Pleasant hotel - address not helpful as we could not find it this way but they did have a large sign in front so we could not miss. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast in the morning. Rooms were nice and very clean with good towels, etc.

OK hotel for price

Posted 13-May-2014
Pros: Convent location to the interstate .
Cons: Needs updated
Location: The only thing was Wall Drugstore The " Wounded Knee Museum" not open
The room was clean and comfortable for the price. Not sure I do a return visit.Breastfast was ok . The weather was cold but heat in room was good. I think this an old hotel. Would have liked received a receipt at check out.
