Half the price as many others in the area, same great views and amenities as others. Great pool, reasonable lunch/beer/cocktails. Very few children. Lots of middle aged Germans. Very quite and relaxed guests.
Modern hotel surrounded by shady pine trees, just 350 metres from the beach and six kilometres from the centre of Dubrovnik …More
We only stayed 2 nights, but would happily have stayed more, and would definitely go back. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and particularly helpful. The breakfast was very good. Lots of variety with fresh fruit and egg and omelette stations, warm breads and pancakes etc which set us up for the day.
"Lovely hotel close to beach & easy access to town"
We loved the Valamar President. Very clean and modern. We stayed for 5 nights.
There was a really convenient bus that took you straight from the hotel into the old town. It made it very easy as they were both ends of the line.
The staff were so helpful and always had a smile on their faces.
The pool was beautiful and so was the private beach. There were loads of water activities ranging from jet ski, banana boats or just tours of the neighbouring islands.
Breakfast was so lovely and so was the beach bar which served fresh food daily as well as great cocktails and fruit smoothies!
We ate dinner mostly in the old town which was spectacular. If you like sushi go to Bota, you will need to book a day before. We also went for a really romantic meal at Karisa, which is just as you enter the old town from the main entrance.
A very ... unpretentious hotel with a mix of younger and older guests, couples and families. Hotel has a big pool with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas; sports activities are organised throughout the day by friendly animators so you can have a relaxing holiday or a more active one; situated right by the sea so a short walk takes you to several places to swim in crystal clear water; buffet restaurant is consistently good with plenty of choice for adults and children. We never go anywhere twice - except for here. Just love it!
"Comfortable hotel in lovely garden, close to beach"
Excellent location, a couple of miles from the old city of Dubrovnik. Public buses run every 10 mins from outside the hotel into Dubrovnik so getting to town to see the sights is very easy.
Beautiful gardens, close to 2 beaches. Lovely pool.
Restaurant is self-service for breakfast and dinner, with excellent food and plenty of choice. Very attentive and pleasant staff in the restaurant.
A lot of tour companies use this hotel, though we were there as independent travellers. So it can get busy at times in the lobby/bar/restaurant areas, though because these areas are so spacious it doesn't feel too crowded.
Very helpful staff at hospitality desk who booked a couple of trips for us with local companies.
We had a very relaxing week-long holiday - just what we needed.
This was a friendly hotel with very helpful staff, we stayed 3 nights & was very comfortable here. We stayied in a beautiful junior suite with an amazing view. The food was absolutely lovely, we ate in the restaurant twice and the cave bar plus the breakfast, always was happy with our meals.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Dubrovnik.

The Hotel More is located 3 km from the old town of Dubrovnik, on the peninsula Lapad, surrounded by rich Mediterranean …More
Very comfortable beds, especially the pillows. Terrace area for breakfast was beautiful and the range of food excellent although the fruit offering could have been better. Fabulous Spa and sunbathing facilities and even at busy times, sun loungers could be found. Sea swimming excellent but the pools were a little small due to the rock face restrictions. Lunchtime menu was adequate. The evening menu was excellent but top end of price range. There was a frequent bus service into the old city which made the hotel conveniently placed. Staff very pleasant indeed. I stayed with my two daughters, both in their 20s and we all would consider staying there again.
