We have just had a one night stay in the Holiday Inn, Garden Court, Aylesbury. Booking in was quick and easy and we went straight to our room. The room was spacious, clean and it was nice to see a settee and a couple of chairs to sit and relax on. Tea/coffee facilities were adequate and one pack of biscuits were out. The breakfast supplied was ok but could have done with a bit more on the plate! We requested some extra coffee and milk for our room and this was given with no problems. The breakfast lady was polite and helpful. The only downside was as we were eating we could see a member of staff sitting in the kitchen area reading a book which was a bit off putting - saying that I would recommend the hotel.
We had a great stay at the Five Arrows, lovely bedroom, beautiful and very comfortable four poster bed, the bathroom was spacious and the handcream/bodycream excellent. Our evening meal was very good, beautifully presented, also an excellent breakfast both for choice and quality of the food. Very peaceful garden.

the staff were brilliant and facilities were great. The only problem I had was the manager of the gym. I was running with my son and he said my son was not allowed on the machines.because of his age. Which is fine until I mentioned if my son could stay with me and watch for a bit. My son was not allowed to even stay !!!! He was just a prat !!!

Had trouble finding the B&B and had to phone Expedia to get the number. Sat Nav had taken me to right place but the only sign was hidden by a car in the drive. Room was ok but ensuite facilities ran through a macerator in the bathroom that sprang into life when other rooms turned on taps. Really noisy and made me Jump when someone was leaving about 5am. Good shower TV was a pain only seemed to have 4 channels. Other channels came up no signal. Bed was very comfortable but Quilt was a bit thin and fortunate I was on my own because I could pinch the quilt from the other Bed.
Breakfast was an extra £4.50 for a continental - not good value so gave it a miss.
Ok for one night but won't be back
