The hotel is located near a subway station that is only 2 stations away from all the major city sites. There is a restaurant on site and the staff are friendly. There is no pool or hot tub. There are no irons in the room to straighten your clothes. Otherwise, its a clean room and nice atmosphere.

Recommended for a single guest or a couple after a B&B in the older part of Rome. You are within walking distance of the Colosseum, the Forum (including the Arch of Titus), Piazza Venezzia (with the memorial to Victor Emanuel II, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona etc. A little further away you have the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain (currently undergoing renovation). The Vatican/St Peters and Castel Sant'Angelo are about 45 minutes on foot. Of relevance to Jewish visitors is that the hotel is no more than 15 minutes on foot from the Great Synagoge at Lungotevere de Cenci and the "Ghetto" (where numerous kosher restaurants are found, including one, BaGhetto, that offers Sabbath meals by pre-arrangement and pre-payment).
This is a basic hotel, located in a former convent. The rooms are small but well appointed. You get fridge/minibar, TV and free WiFi. Our room had a balcony opening onto an interior courtyard (with a lemon tree laden with fruit, very charming). Because the hotel is on a side-street, there is relatively little noise at night.
Breakfast is basic but ample (hard boiled eggs, sliced meat and cheese, bread, cakes, fruit and cereal, with juice and tea/coffee). And the room keeps long hours.
When we first arrived in the area of the B&B we were a bit concerned: it's just outside of the main ancient core, lots of graffiti, congestion and traffic, and it took us a while to find the apartment complex. But once we met Barbara our concerns soon drifted away. She made us comfortable in our room, had a map within in our hands and soon had indicated all kinds of suggestions, bus routes, metro destinations, and even warned us to stay away from certain areas of the city. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning. The private bathroom had all the conveniences, and Barbara stressed that the kitchen was ours to use. The refrigerator was stocked with water, yogurt, juice milk and snacks. There was bread, croissants, and cereal 24/7, and a microwave and espresso machine.
The Corner is super stylish and comfortable with friendly and welcoming staff. The location is, in my opinion, great - close to Circo Massimo station on the Metro. You'd have to be pretty mean-spirited to not love this place.
Good location, close to Metro (3 minutes walk plus 20-25 minutes on underground to Vatican). Fabio (owner) very helpful. Clean room & bathroom. Good price for a b&b close to city centre. Breakfast in coffee shop close to b&b.

The room was clean and tidy..the weak point is the toilet but for the price it's better than have a shared toilet..so no complains...the position of the Hotel is excellent because it's 15 min by Metro to the Termino Station and you have all the amanties near by.
The breakfast can be improved I think, but overall for who is staying few days to enjoy Rome I think it's a good place to stay.
We loved this place! Had great communications with the staff there before our arrival and when the airport burned the morning of our arrival and our flight was delayed, they contacted us per e-mail to see when we would arrive and when to send a driver etc. They waited up for us and were super nice and helpful!
They were extremely friendly and the rooms are brand new and have everything you could possibly need. We walked everywhere from there and started our days off with their breakfast coupon that you redeem in the buzzing Cafeteria downstairs. Looking forward to our next stay there, hopefully soon!
First, after staying in the Trevi fountain area, the Aventino area was a breath of fresh air. Cleaner, quieter, nicer, but still plenty accessible to sites and food. The hotel was fine. Our room was clean and modern. We stayed in 2 places in Rome, and 1 in Naples, and this was the best, especially at this price.

The most southerly of Rome’s seven hills, the Aventine offers splendid views over St Peter’s and Trastevere from the top. This peaceful, mainly residential quarter has leafy gardens, churches and cloisters. It also incorporates colourful Testaccio, site of the city’s old slaughterhouse where many locals once worked, and inns serving traditional Roman cuisine. It’s now a thriving area of good restaurants, shops, bars and clubs.
