“Good Hotel at Prime Location”
Good Hotel at Prime Location. Rates are also reasonable. Presidential tower and UTA are at a walking distance.
“it was good”
It was good and worth the money spent.
“Solid Budget Accommodations”
Stayed here recently for a week while doing research at the LBJ library. Rooms were nothing fancy, very basic, but very clean. Not the most exciting neighborhood, but if you're just looking for a reasonably priced place to sleep after a long day, this is good enough. Decent Mexican restaurant across the street, and a 24 hour Denny's just up the road. Wi Fi in room worked fine. Staff was very polite and helpful.
“Best low budget hotel!”
This hotel is one of the best deals in Austin, the location is convenient, and the facilities are great, microwave, fridge, TV, and since i was attending a conference with a lot of crumpled clothes, the iron and ironing board are the best... I am definitely super satisfied with SUper8! True to the 8 point promise!
“Needs improvement”
-Wifi service was unavailable the whole time. Luckily, the City of Austin MESH network was available to connect. - Beds creak too much -The water pipes made so much noise that i woke up in the middle of the night because of them. -Water didnt drain from the bathtub in the morning. -The staff is trying their best but i guess they need to recheck their infrastructure, equipment. -Yes it is quite cheap but i guess for 10 bucks a night more, i could have had a better night of sleep.
“Very convenient location...for a good price.. would recommend to others”
Very convenient location, close to Austin Convention Center. If anything missing/damaged in room/restroom- must let the front desk know or else they may charge us as per their policy.......I guess this is there in all hotels. Great price.......great location!!!!
“Get what you pay for”
It was very convenient to the Sheraton where my business conference was, so to save the company a bunch of money we stayed at the Super 8. It was old, dirty, noisy air conditioner, bad water pressure and water heat, and iffy neighborhood. The staff was very nice and helpful. Continental breakfast was nice (waffles, cereals, yogurt, etc). Overall it was just OK, although I did not get much sleep. I will not stay there again for future business in Austin.
“Shady area, but worth the price I paid”
Booked this hotel super last minute for a conference. Cheapest price on the web, shady area a bit, 2 bums always on the corner near by, but they are harmless. Was exactly what I expected, nothing more, nothing less. The fact that they fixed the toilet within 5 minutes of me reporting the issue was impressive though.
“I'd stay here again on my next trip”
I was impressed with the overall ambiance of the hotel. For a place that is on the interstate, it was most comfortable when I needed it, as my trip to Austin was rather physical in nature. I slept like a rock the two nights I was there. I didn't need any special amenities or perks. I just needed a place to sleep and feel comfortable. This hotel did that for me. I'll stay here again on any subsequent trips to Austin, Texas.
“Much less satisfied than expected.”
Old. Breakfast time is too short.
