When in Round Rock, I usually stay at a hotel that is 4x the price, because it is a well known hotel chain. Since they were sold out last week, I booked a reservation at the Red Roof Inn. Not only was it reasonably priced, the rooms were extremely clean and the bed was quite comfortable as well. In addition, the staff was warm and friendly. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Red Roof Inn will be my hotel of choice whenever I visit Round Rock from now on!

“Best coffee machine ever!”

We have stayed at Red Roof Inns before and have always been very pleased with not only the room and the cleanliness of the hotel but the service as well. But THIS Red Roof Inn had a great coffee machine downstairs that had regular coffee and flavored coffee all in the same machine - it was great!

I was very impressed at how nice the hotel was for what I paid. I had stayed at Red Roof Inn North Austin 2 days before and was less than impressed. Red Roof Inn RoundRock definitely surprised me and I would certainly go back. SXSW 08!

“Rooms Greatly Exceed Wht the Drab Exterior Implies”

The quality of my room's interior, and of the (queen-sized) bed and the bathroom, was excellent ... in fairly stark contrast to the slightly dumpy stairwells and hallways. Once you get inside of your room, you feel as if you're in a 3-star hotel. Front-desk clerk (Adam? Andy?) was very good. Superb value for the price.

The motel is being renovated, so there is construction going on. I assume thats the reason for the great price. The newley renovated rooms are nice with laminate flooring and no dirty carpet.

“Plesantly Surpised”

Plesantly surprised. Wasn't expecting much for the price, but when we got there found they were renovating the motel and we got one of the newly renovated rooms. Very Nice. I think just about everything was new. Except maybe the TV which was fine. Carpet is gone and replaced with laminate flooring.
