“Very good”

Very good. Staff friendly, helpful. Motel is clean. Had excellent breakfast but no lunch or dinner service. one restaurant in walking distance.

“Love the showerhead”

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was extremely clean...very satisfied. Oh and...love the showerhead. :-)

“Great hotel for the price”

Clean and comfortable hotel. Friendly staff. Good location. Not walking distance from anything interesting but a very short drive.

Area recommendations
Downtown is always nice. Sixth street was a lot of fun on saturday night. If you like outdoors, Zilker park is a great option.

Sixth street is a lot of fun, specially on weekend nights. Reminds me a lot of Mardi Grass

“downtown austin alternative”

Service was amazing. Front desk helped me with an early check in and were very friendly and courteous throughout the stay.

“Not what I expected...”

I was not impressed with the location of the hotel. It was directly next to the highway and a gas station... few other motels and a diner. The area is not far from the downtown area. However, the actual location of the hotel did not feel safe. In addition, the elevator was wet throughout the night and had dried dirt marks as a result of the water that had not been cleaned the night before. The room was extremely small. I felt as if I were in standard motel. The hotel wasn't horrible... just not impressive at all. I have stayed at a numbr of Marriotts... this one did not fit up to the name.

Area recommendations
The downtown area (in and around 6th street) is really nice. Plenty of choices of great food and night life. Zilker park area has some great food finds and live music.
Must see
Barton Springs at Zilker park was very relaxing. Try to go canoeing or kayaking if you get a chance... $10. If your looking for something a little out of the ordinary-Look up the "Catherdral of Junk" (the owner doesn't actually call this piece of work by that name) ... it was very interesting. Better than a museum. And a few blocks away lives his friend who has a similar concept with dolls. Mt. Bonnel was exceptional. I went early in the day. You'll catch a few joggers but it won't be over packed. The views are amazing. Maybe pack breakfast/ lunch... really nice to unwind.

I had a great experience at this hotel. I was able to check in earlier than expected and the room and accommodations were as expected as well.

“Sweet Stay~!”

The front desk people were very helpful and very friendly. We couldn't find our thermostat and they were kind, even though my friend and I were kind of special. They gave us some free market deals.
