Good facilities and staff. Unbeknownst to us, the street is the location of most of the nightclubs in auckland with loud and endless doof doof music until 4 am, when the drunken louts spill out onto the street vomiting and fighting. All rooms should have double glazing as we had no sleep at all.

I left my luggage at the concierge and told them to bring my car around in an hour then went for breakfast. After breakfast, my luggage was in the car ready to go. Now this is proper concierge service.

We had a fantastic stay here. Comfy beds, clean and modern. Perfect location near the harbor and everything. Staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Beautifully appointed accommodation. The parking situation is unusual in that there is none at the hotel and there is valet parking. This was not mentioned to us during booking, only at check in. The staff were friendly, but perhaps lacking in some communication. We asked if it were possible for us to check out and if we could store our bags at the hotel while we went for a walk to come back later to then pick up the bags and car for an afternoon flight out of Auckland. Instead, they automatically brought our car to the limited parking area at the hotel potentially blocking the area so we were forced to quickly load the car and get out when we had communicated our desire to pick up the car later. Also we were 5 minutes overdue finishing packing for check out when the staff rang us to check we were leaving.

The hotel is well located. Staff is helpful. Rooms are clean. The problem is the lack of closet & drawer space, so you live out of your suitcase.

Excellent location as a starting pint for our cruise. Walking distance to the cruise terminal. Great restaurants and attractions walking distance. Hop on hop off starting point across the street.

We booked 3 rooms . Only 1 room was ready at 3 pm . Other 2 were ready at 3:30 and 4 pm . The room I first got which was at 2nd floor had the loud sound of kind of water leaking noise and it happened every 3-4 minutes. I was told may be something wrong with the AC . Although I got switched to another room , there still had same issue but just not happened that frequently and less noise , so I did not bother to inform the front desk . My friend told me she heard water leaking noise in her room too .

I really appreciated the friendly staff. Those that checked me in and out, the valet parking staff, the housekeeping staff and also the girl who made my coffee at the cafe down in the lobby (who remembered my order from the day before).

Good location in CBD. Clean hotel and large room. Beds comfortable and good bathroom. Corridors a had a bit of an echo so could hear loud folks passing occasionally. Good breakfast and view from restaurant. Would certainly stay again.

This hotel is located about one two blocks from the cruise terminal and the same from the first Hop-On Hop-off stop. There are many nice restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Very well situated for cruisers and tourists.

Great location, helpful staff. I wish we could have got the room early on the first day, it was a long intercontinental trip and walking around Auckland would have been easier without winter jackets, shoes, etc. but the room wasn’t available.

The location was perfectly located. A quick walk to the galleries and shopping, even quicker to enjoy he Wharf and Wynyard Quarter. Plenty of taxis and Ubers around too for further adventures. The hotel was very clean and smartly decorated. In particular, we liked the comfortable bed and window bench. Worth keeping in mind the bathroom shelf leads to the bedroom so when someone's in there, the light illuminated the bedroom. I wasn't too disturbed, but it woke me up once. The whole team, including Roboto(!), made our stay wonderful. Chocolate hour was much more fun than we anticipated a dessert buffet would be. The amenities were impressive. I liked that there was a dedicated studio room for yoga/pilates/dance. The gym was also recently equipped although really built for one person. It was clean and functional. There's an in-house launderette! If you're like us and need a mid-trip ewash you'll appreciate the comfort of not needing to leave the hotel and competitive pricing. We would be delighted to stay again in future.

I stayed at the Movenpick after a cruise. The location was perfect. Despite have a huge suitcase and carry on, I was able to walk off the ship to the hotel. The location is surrounded by shopping and dining options. The staff was cheerful and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming off a cruise.

Mövenpick Auckland.
Very convenient location, right near the water and innumerable restaurants and bars. Valet parking a bit expensive but you can park a 5 min walk away for $24/day.

Great stay in Auckland
Had a great stay at Movenpick hotel in Auckland. The hotel is very clean, nice, and right by the water and high street/main area. Didn't make it to the breakfast, but the coffee upstairs was really nice and check-in was easy. Only recommendation would be that the sink had a few cracks while the rest of the room was perfect.

Great location. Nice room although the aircon was noisy, even on lowest setting. Nice top-floor bar with great city/harbour views however restaurant was booked for private function so had to order room service
