Spa
Located on the ground floor, the 743 square metre Senses Spa comprises seven treatment rooms and offers a combination of ancient and modern therapies – from age-old Thai, Ayurvedic, and European massage techniques, to the latest in spa treatments. Open daily from mid-morning until late.
Signature Treatment – Traditional Thai Massage (1 hour, 30 minutes): NZ$180 (AU$162)
Thai massage is founded on the concept of invisible energy lines running through the body between critical acupressure points. Massaging these lines and points releases pressure, helps stimulate the body's healing mechanisms, and helps relieve pain. This session focuses on 10 main energy lines to help treat the whole body and internal organs. Energy points are pressed and general pressure is applied. Emphasis is placed on considerable muscle stretching.
Fee may not include tax and is subject to change without notice.
Signature Treatment – Thalgo's Indoceane Vital Relaxation (1 hour, 30 minutes): NZ$200 (AU$180)
This treatment features the Thalgo marine therapy range. A Sweet & Savoury body scrub is followed by a stress-relieving relaxation massage. The body is then enveloped in a silky wrap, before being caressed with Thalgo's Sublime Cream.
Fee may not include tax and is subject to change without notice.
Signature Treatment – Herbal Hot Compress (1 hour, 30 minutes): NZ$200 (AU$180)
A traditional Thai herbal therapy specifically designed to soothe muscle tension and stiffness. The session begins with the application of a warm herbal poultice containing a variety of therapeutic herbs and spices. The treatment concludes with a full body massage using specially selected herbal oils.
Fee may not include tax and is subject to change without notice.
Renewal Package – Mer & Sens Hot Volcanic Stones (3 hours): NZ$340 (AU$306)
Harnessing the healing power of gentle heat, small stones are placed on key energy points. This helps release muscle tension before the stones are used for a full body massage. The treatment includes a hot stone exfoliation, hot stone massage, and hot stone facial massage.
Fee may not include tax and is subject to change without notice.
Body Experience – Frigi-Thalgo (45 minutes): NZ$100 (AU$90)
The simple vaso-constricting and cooling effect of this treatment makes hot, tired legs feel lighter and refreshed. The skin feels firmer and smoother.
Fee may not include tax and is subject to change without notice.
The spa uses Thalgo skin care products.

“Great location”
Very impressed with quality of hotel. Super location with short walk to waterfront restaurants, Sky Tower and city centre while still in quiet area.
“Very Good Auckland Hotel”
This hotel is well located next to Viaduct Harbour. Lots of good restaurants and water activities nearby. Convenient to shopping, gardens and sightseeing features. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and good sized as are the bathrooms. We had an evening flght so they held our bags for us after we checked out and when we got back later in the afternoon they allowed us to use their Spa (free of charge) to freshen up for our trip home. We would stay there again.
“Location, Location, and Excellent Quality”
Very pleased with this hotel. You can walk to Viaduct Harbour and the Ferry's in 10 minutes. The hotel is very accommodating and well taken care off. The breakfast included is ala carte and exceptional. Could have had eggs benedict every day if we wished. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms elegant and nicely done. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if we went to Auckland again.
“Receivership”
Apparentyl the Westin Auckland is in receivership. Consequently a number of the rooms are not available for guests. With the lack of people in the common areas there is a lack of "buzziness" one would normally associate with a hotel of this quality. Also the areas for drinks is not terribly inviting. The hotel is difficult to find when arriving downtown by the airport bus and is a fair walk. Locals are unfaimilar with where the hotel is located. A courtesy pick up from either downtown or airport would be useful.
“One of the Best Hotels Around”
I am absolutely in love with this hotel. Everything, from the location to cleanliness, from staff to dining - this place has it all. Stayed there last year for the first time, and had to return again. The fitness centre could have been slightly larger, but that's a minor point, as it still had all of the equipment for a good workout. When you are there, do try the Q restaurant. The quality of food, service and a selection of wines will make you want to come back over and over. Top notch all in all!
“Very impressive and great location”
It is a very beautiful hotel - top class. I arrived in the morning after a long flight and I was greeted with an upgrade to the top floor with a balcony overlooking the marina. To top it off, the room was ready! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby area was stunning. Key areas are within walking distance - close to the viaduct harbor, restaurants, Queen Street (shopping), and the ferry building where you can take a cruise to various islands. I will definitely stay here again.
“One of Auckland's best”
This is my pick of hotels in Auckland, love the location, easy walk to downtown AUckland and viaduct. Great outlook from room over marina. Lovely couches to relax in and have a drink before going out. Rooms are not huge but tastefully decorated and great bathrooms. Only problem we had was have to get our access key reprogrammed 3 times.
“VG Auckland Hotel”
Very contemporary hotel in good harbor-side location. Helpful staff. Good restaurants along harbor.
“Great Stay”
It was one of the best hotels I have stayed at around the world.
“Nice hotel, perfect location”
