“Good place to stay”

Overall the hotel is good, however, the surrounding neighborhood is not safe. It is very scary area especially if you go from the hotel to Civic Center Station after 6 PM, even in the day time. Also, the wireless internet is very very slow, this hotel is not recommended for people who really need to access internet.

“Near a homeless shelter!”

This hotel is near a homeless shelter but I will say I did not see any homeless people running around.

This place is close to the Fox Theatre.
Events and shows
We saw String Cheese Incident at the Fox Theatre so we weren't at the hotel much but it is really close! cheese cheese cheese

“You receive what you pay for”

Plenty of homeless people around in the neighborhood.... Roaches and bugs.... Downtown location.... Very cheap... You definitely receive what you pay for....

“Bad Move”

The worst Hotel i every stayed in even the girl clerk told i should called and asked her if she would stay there. Take of your list for atl

“Not at all!”

Unfortunately, my time there was not pleasurable. The place had roaches. That's unacceptable! The front desk people were rude! My room was cleaned before I got it and once after that. I stayed 4 days and 3 nights. They didn't replace my towels when they did clean it. The one thing that was good was the security but that had to be done because of the neighborhood with the shelter being up the street

“Warning: bed bugs!”

The hotel is situated in a terribly neighborhood. There is armed security personnel checking your id. The front desk closes at 9 p.m. There are bed bugs in the hotel. I would never stay there again.

“Run don't walk from this hotel”

Scary location, terrible condition, hard bed, looks like the set of a hollywood thrasher movie. Not worth the convenience of being in town. Hard to sleep when you dont feel safe.

“It was a mistake”

what would you feel when u enter a hotel where the front desk (it was closed by the time reached the hotel) has two security guys with guns and a look which says, "are you sure you want to stay here"!! I landed atlanta at 10 PM took a shared shuttle to the hotel. I just wanted to check in, fresh up, catch a quick bite and sleep. After getting checked in by security person it took some time to find my room which was on third floor. The Hotel galaries a low on light and quite filthy. Anyways, I then decided to go for some food and none of the two security guys had any idea where I would get some. Now I come on the main alley infront of Hotel it is again very dark and weired people on the street. ANyways I feel the location and surrounding is not good. Specially for people not knowing the city. Expedia could may be give a little heads up to anyone like me....

“Did not like”

This hotel is actually more of a motel to which individuals needed a longer term stay at affordable cost may consider. It doesn't provide ameneties you expect at a chain location such as an iron/board without your drivers license!, a hair blow dryer, shampoo, coffee, no 24hr guest service personnel, free shuttle service, and free continental breakfast. The rooms appear clean but there is an odor that I call funk embedded in the carpet I suppose. The location is one block away from a homeless shelter and about two from a hospital. Strongely don't recommend this location for people with children. But if you need a place to stay for a long duration maybe you just relocated and times are tight, this is probably more suitable as this isn't a vacationer atmosphere.

For vacationers, I would say within the south college park area, airport area for a suburban like atmosphere.

Transit system buy the city pass!
What to pack
At least one pair of pants gets a little chilly at night!

Acquarium...awesome bring a camera!
