“romantic night getaway”

Loved the hotel and the food was good. Room service was friendly as were the lounge workers. It was the perfect place to get a night away from the kids. Enjoyed every peaceful moment of it. Can't wait to get an overnight getaway for just hubby and me soon. We will go back to the same place. We might even make it an annual thing and be sentimental and ask for the same room each time.

“Excellent Hotel”

“Impressed during a quick stay the night before Thanksgiving!”

I drove from Jackson, MS, to Atlanta, GA, after work the day before Thanksgiving. Upon arriving at the Marriott (which was just off the bypass I use to get to my parent's house in Charlotte, NC), I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a large, welcoming lobby with a friendly female employee manning the checkin desk. It was about 10 PM, so once I checked in and bought a few refreshments at the gift shop, I wandered upstairs to my room. It had a very comfortable bed, nice large TV, and good toiletries in the bathroom. That was pretty much all I needed for a good night's rest. The only minor flaw the hotel had was a pretty pricey breakfast-- I should've chosen somewhere with at least free coffee/bagels/continental-style. However, the suburb of Alpharetta is extremely nice and enjoyable (I had been there this summer for a concert on July 4th) and I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for such a low price. Thanks, Expedia! PC

“Very nice hotel.”

Very nice staff and hotel. The indoor pool area was wonderful due to the temps outside were very cool. Only thing is to beware of charges. I was charged on expedia's site and then was double charged again after that transaction went through.

“Besides the confusing entrance, this hotel was perfect!”

The entrance to the hotel from the road needs to be made a little more clear — after a long drive we arrived at the hotel and thought we were driving up to it, and instead ended up back on the interstate. We had to drive in an 8-mile loop to get back to the hotel. They really should mark the entrance a little better. Other than that, this hotel was wonderful. The staff was great, it was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was beautiful. We also got a free breakfast both mornings we were there, which was wonderful. I'd definitely recommend it!

Where we were was great — right next to the interstate and not too far from downtown Atlanta.

Getting there

The entrance to the hotel from the road needs to be made a little more clear — after a long drive we arrived at the hotel and thought we were driving up to it, and instead ended up back on the interstate. We had to drive in an 8-mile loop to get back to the hotel. They really should mark the entrance a little better. Our GPS has us making a U-turn at the light next to the hotel, but we should have just taken the light directly in — although it's not clear that the road is also the entrance to the hotel, it leads to the front entrance. If you try to drive towards the sign that says 'Marriott,' you will end up on the on-ramp for the interstate.

“A great stay!”

The hotel was lovely. Clean, fresh, modern, and nicely appointed. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our event was also at the hotel and again the staff (banquets) were also friendly, efficient and accommodating. A very nice expereience in every way.
