“Most incredible staff!”
The staff was absolutely amazing. They were so friendly and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. The continental breakfast was really nice. They had a lot of food items to choose from. You could pay extra for eggs, bacon, etc., but we found plently of food in the continental breakfast and did not request a special order. The light in our bathroom went out and the maintenance man was there as soon as we called. He determined that he needed to replace the entire light fixture, so while we visited my sister, he replaced the entire fixture. He was a delightful man! The only negative, and it's really not that negative, was the eating area. It was crowded on one of the three days that we ate breakfast there. All in all, we had a very enjoyable time at this hotel and would definitely consider it again for our yearly trip to Atlanta for Thanksgiving.
“Nice Place”
Plenty of dining options, easy parking, great part of town
“Pleasantly surprised. Will stay again.”
This was one of our best stays. Room was bigger than a normal hotel room. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.
“Very nice accomodations!”
Will stay here again!
“Excelent place in Buckhead!”
Everything looks brand new. New bathrooms, big room.Maybe it needs more cabinet space. I really recomend this hotel!
“Great business stay”
I've stayed at this hotel several times, so I noticed the updated bathroom right away. The service was friendly, as usual. This is a great Atlanta location with free parking, near shopping and restaurants.
“A return stay guatantee!!”
I am baffled by the current rating of 2.. this hotel is super nice. Parking is free, so is wifi vs other hotels where u pay 25-50 dollars in parking and 10-20 dollars for wifi. In addition to that all rooms are suites. A king size bed, sofa-bed, clean linens, fridge, sink, tub, hot water. I mean it offers way more than other hotels. Its the best affordable hotel in Atlanta.
“Pleasant surprise”
We thought we had booked the Grand Hyatt and were surprised to learn that we were about one block away in the Hyatt Place. Upon arrival, we were shown the amenities and given a short tour. Free wi-fi, free covered garage parking, free continental breakfast and pleasant, clean rooms made this a very nice stay. Only cons would be small closet and old-school hotel a/c by the window. Overall we were delighted with this inexpensive hotel right in the heart of Buckhead. It is right next to Gordon Bierscht microbrewery and restaurant which was very good as well. I would definitely recommend this nice little hotel. Bonus, the staff were all VERY helpful and friendly.
“Perfectly adequate”
The room was a bit small (staying with husband and 2 kids) but pretty much fine. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The location was pretty good, too...within driving distance easily of downtown and Lenox Mall. The restaurant nearby (walking distance) is a brewery and was kid-friendly, good food if a little pricey. We enjoyed our stay just fine, and I'd recommend it.
“Nice stay”
The rooms were very nice - comfortable, clean and with the ammenities I expect from a hotel associated with the Hyatt. One of the front desk employees took us around and gave us a quick tour of the hotel's ammenities since this was our first stay at a Hyatt Place. The hotel was located about a mile from Lenox Square Mall in Buckhead and there were a lot of other shops and nice restaurants within a short walk or drive. The hotel staff was courteous and responsive - they quickly delivered an extra blanket to our room within minutes of our request. There were two small things that could have improved our stay. One of the coffee cups in our room had some kind of black gunk stuck in the cup. And, sadly, we missed the free breakfast because we didn't realize they closed down at 10:15 am. We should have asked at check-in but didn't think of it. The front desk gave us tons of info about the hotel ammenities at check-in but didn't tell us the breakfast shut-down time. We slept in since it was a Saturday and missed the breakfast by just a few minutes. (In their favor, one of the hotel staff did offer to get my 6 year old daughter some juice or cereal.) All in all, we had a good stay and would not hesitate to stay again. This hotel is great for weekend get-aways and week-day business travelers.
