“Friendly staff, great location”

I had a good dinner my first night; the bar looked good, too. Staff are friendly and professional. Best of all, the hotel is located close to the MARTA. I was charged for watching a movie which I did not watch, and the front desk staff quickly removed it from my bill. It pays to go over your bill very carefully, wherever you are!

Area recommendations

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is definitely worth a trip (though a bit pricey). Go with about 2 hours to spare, plus time for lunch. It's a great workout and the beautiful surroundings are good for the soul.

“Convenient location next to tabernacle, aquarium, and more!”

Hotel was located right next to the Tabernacle, which is an extraordinarily awesome venue for live music! Walking distance to aquarium, CNN HQ, Coca-Cola factory, plenty of food and shopping opportunities, including Hard Rock, Ted's Montana Grill, a mall, and much more. Would certainly stay there again at the amazing rate we received from Expedia! Biggest complaint, actually only complaint, was that there was no refrigerator for the leftovers from all the fabulous dining in the area. Staff was extremely helpful, polite, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional!

You may want to look into what concerts, shows, and events are happening during your stay, especially at the Tabernacle. You can count on several tabernacle attendees to be staying at this hotel because it is sooooooo close! I could easily imagine the night-life varying depending on the day of the week, what events are happening during your stay, etcetera. Couldn't ask for a better location to stay if your going to be partying at the Tabernacle!

“Meh”

Good location if you're going to Peachtree or the Tabernacle, however: 1. The air conditioning was so loud I could barely sleep. 2. The toilet ran the entire time. 3. I could never connect to the Wifi with any of the multiple devices I had. I called for help TWICE. Both times they said someone would be right up... and no one ever came up. 4. The TV barely responded to the remote. 5. There's no curtain over the window, just a transparent white silk bit. There's no way to get the room dark. Lastly, there was some sort of celebration on Saturday morning at 8 AM that meant my room was literally louder than if I was playing music in it myself. And I visited town... for a concert. I wasn't impressed at all. The hotel isn't a good one. But the staff was nice and the location is great, so if you just need a place to crash, it'll do.

“Paper thin walls”

Great hotel yet you could hear everything the guest were saying or doing in the suites next to you which made sleeping difficult.

Area recommendations

Downtown Atlanta because all of the amenities you could ask for we're within a short walk.

“Great value in Downtown Atlanta”

Loved everything about this hotel with one exception: The wireless signal was too weak to use. The front desk tried to "reset" it which didn't work. It sounds like a common problem there - I had to go in the hallway to get a signal that would only sporadically work. Since I was there for work, it was very inconvenient. They do have four computers in the business lounge for use. However, since my secure remote log in is installed on my laptop, I wasn't able to use them for work purposes. If they fixed the wireless, I would give five stars! Rooms were clean and well appointed, staff was very friendly and helpful.

“Not Impressed”

Although we were guests at the hotel, we were charged $20 per day for parking. This was not previously disclosed to us. An unpleasant and unexpected surprise. The internet NEVER worked. We called to ask to have it fixed and they said they would send someone to fix it. No one ever appeared. The cable tv had terrible reception. The stations were full of static. There was no hot water at one point. Not sure why. I let the water run for several minutes then gave up. The room was reasonably clean. One elevator was hinky. it closed on my boyfriend's arm and bruised him pretty good. Scared me. Most everyone was very friendly. Neat and professional.

“Bad Service”

Everything was great except the customer service I received at check-in. The attendant yelled at me for "using a third party" to book the room. The 2 beds I had requested were not available and she told me, that I was "lucky she didn't stick me in a smoking room." Being asthmatic, this was very offensive to me. I will never stay at this facility again and that is unfortunate because it was very convenient and comfortable. I have never been spoken to in such an unprofessional manner.
