“Great place to stay.”

This hotel was wonderful, with a very customer service oriented staff. Everything was just terrific, from the shuttle driver that came and picked us up from our restaurant when it was raining, to the maid service. Location was great, food was great. Hope to stay here again!

Dining

If you stay at this hotel, make sure to visit Divan, a close local restaurant . It is a Turkish Hookah Bar and was a great little place. Great atmosphere, terrific food, can't say enough.

“Buckhead Visit”

Terrific staff who were uniformly pleasant and helpful across all service areas. Convenient location for shopping at both the Lenox and Phipps malls. Easy freeway access made trips to Duluth and downtown Atlanta very manageable.

“Great experience!”

The hotel staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The only downfall was the parking. It's $20.00 per night but its nice they just bill it to your room and you are able to come and go throughout the day. We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hyatt. They have a beautiful Zen garden on the third floor that my boyfriend and I enjoyed very much. The hotel grounds are beautiful as well as the interior. I would love to stay there again!

“Great hotel - great location”

My wife and I stayed seven nights on a spur of the moment vacation and had an excellent experience with the Grand Hyatt. The room was very nice and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The courtesy car for local trips (2 mile radius) meant that we did not need to rent a car and keep up with parking, etc. We used the city busses and trains for longer trips to downtown, museums, restaurants, etc. The train station was only 2 blocks from the hotel and there was a bus station within a few feet of the hotel's front doors. I used the health club several days and found it to be very well equipped, clean and super convenient. I was a little disappointed that wi-fi was a surcharge item, but the restaurants nearby had it for free, so it turned out not to be much of a problem, especially since the weather was great during our stay. Reading and snacking poolside was also a pleasure I enjoyed repeatedly. I would definitely recommend the Grand Hyatt Buckhead to anyone looking for friendly service and first class amenities.

Area recommendations

The Buckhead community is a nice, upscale place with plenty of good restaurants, shopping and a is the home of the Atlanta Museum of History. I never felt uncomfortable walking the streets, even after dark.
