My wife and I used this as a base while in Atlanta. I have stayed in the best and worst hotels all over the world and honestly, this is the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in!!! The room was perfect and the complementary breakfast was superb with breakfast muffins, eggs, coffee, bagels, Fruit, fruit juices and cereal a plenty!! The area is perfect for Atlanta and the state of Georgia being close to the I85 & I75. Buckhead is the trendy area of town and although quiet around the hotel, it is close to the mall, and all the good bars and restaurants you could want. Its one of the best hotels you could get for the money and you will go along way to meet a friendlier bunch of hotel staff. Sam & Jeanette Adcock from Leicester, England
“Convenient Location, Friendly Staff”
My main complaint with this hotel is simply that it is outdated. The rooms are old, and although they are clean, they can only be "so" clean due to outdatedness and age. Otherwise, my stay was comfy (comfy king size beds) and everyone I interacted with - from the front desk staff to the lady working the breakfast room - were extremely friendly and kind.
“Great second stay”
My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. We had dinner across the street at Fogo De Chao. Delicious place if you like steak! The ladies at the desk were great and even helped us with some directions to a bar within walking distance of the hotel. This was our second stay at this hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet. We were right by the elevator, but it never sounded like we were. We had a wonderful time! We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Perfectly located if you need to be in Norh Atlanta. Quiet and clean, with a nice breakfast.
“A good Atlanta respite”
This hotel was well kept and the breakfast area was nice and they had more offerings than most places for free. There were lots of maps and attraction guides and the staff was always friendly. The area of Buckhead is an Atlanta suburb and has lots of nice places to eat like Woodfire Grill and Flip Burger. It's just a short drive to the city center. I don't know how easy of a city it is to get around on public transportation so I would recommend renting a car.
“Nice hotel, would book it again.”
The staff at Fairfield Inn and Suites, Buckhead were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We travel to Atlanta twice a year for business and find that this hotel is one of the best places to stay. The location is very good, it is close to the Marta train station, highways, shopping and restaurants. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. Free parking for hotel guests was an added plus. We would definitely stay here again.
“Tired property”
The carpet in room was old and dirty. The armour had a drawer that was broken and hanging off. The worst was the lack of a shuttle service; none on weekends and on Monday morning when I needed one at 8:45 I was told it stopped running at 8:30 which cost me $8.00 in cab fare. Four days after a few inches of snow the driveway was still covered in ice where you needed to walk.
“ICY Atlanta”
i arrived in the middle of ice covered atlanta. Even though the parking lot and entrance was ice covered for days (seems they do not know anything about salt), the hotel took good care of me. Since all the restaurants in the surrounding area was closed (due to the ice), the hotel went out had hot dogs, spaghetti and ragu hot and ready for dinner. The staff was cheerful (even though they were stuck there for days) and everything was clean. The front desk was going out of their way to do anything to make things comfortable. I will recommend this hotel.
