Hotel stay

Posted 21-Aug-2014
Pros: Pet friendly.
Cons: Improve what i said in experience section.
Location: One night stay.
Wi Fi didn't work in my room, the phone didn't work when i tried call to front desk, got a busy signal. TV remote would not turn the tv on or off, could not adjust volume up or down. All it did was change channels. The room also had a oder.

Problems with hotel

Posted 24-Jul-2014
Pros: Close to Stone Mountain
Cons: Swim pool, upkeep, eating area, amenities (phone, radio & lights)
The swimming pool water was not clear. No one had been keeping water clean. The bathtub would not drain immediately. It took about 5 minutes to drain so you are standing in dirty water. There were stains on the coverlets. The breakfast area needed to be enlarged. Guests were atanding around trying to eat. The telephone would not work to call another room. The light swithch by the door did not turn on anything so you had to feel in the dark to turn on a light. The air conditioner was very noisy.

Pros: Close to everything
Cons: No every thing was right on the money.
Location: The location was in Stone Mountain, and we were close to all the dining areas and minutes away from Stone Mountain it self.
We had a great stay at this hotel. The guest service was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very well stocked. Yes I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

All your basic accommodations for a good price

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. We didn't spend a lot of time there. We spent the days at Stone Mountain and came back to nap with the kids and sleep at night. It is less than ten minutes from the park and less than half of the rates of those hotels in the park. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast: make your own waffles, eggs, biscuits, cereal, yogurt, etc. Our only complaint was the front desk staff. The first was pretty rude when we checked in but she seemed to be agitated with a very annoying guest when we walked in. The last day we were there the front desk ladies were talking and playing on their phones while the breakfast bar ran out of everything. They did refill items upon request. Still, we would definitely stay again.

WE (8 ADULTS) DID NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. THIS WAS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE SEEN OR HAD RESERVATION TO IN MY 30 PLUS YEARS OF TRAVELING. When we arrived at the hotel I said to my husband what is this, it looks nothing like the internet pictures. I ask the desk clerk if we could get a key to check out the room before checking in and she gave me a key to check out the room. You had to enter the room from the outside which wasn't good for safety. The lights on the outside were out, the only way to get to the 2nd floor was the outside steps. After I/we checked out the room we return to the desk clerk I told her I'm sorry but it's no way my family and I could stay at a hotel like this, it's not safe, the beds are a FOAM PAD the lights outside were out it was a MESS. WE LEFT AND FOUND ACCOMMODATIONS AT ANOTHER HOTEL.
