A great trip to s Stone Mountain.

Posted 06-Jul-2014
Pros: Close to everything
Cons: No every thing was right on the money.
Location: The location was in Stone Mountain, and we were close to all the dining areas and minutes away from Stone Mountain it self.
We had a great stay at this hotel. The guest service was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very well stocked. Yes I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

All your basic accommodations for a good price

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. We didn't spend a lot of time there. We spent the days at Stone Mountain and came back to nap with the kids and sleep at night. It is less than ten minutes from the park and less than half of the rates of those hotels in the park. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast: make your own waffles, eggs, biscuits, cereal, yogurt, etc. Our only complaint was the front desk staff. The first was pretty rude when we checked in but she seemed to be agitated with a very annoying guest when we walked in. The last day we were there the front desk ladies were talking and playing on their phones while the breakfast bar ran out of everything. They did refill items upon request. Still, we would definitely stay again.

WORST HOTEL (ROACH HOTEL)

Posted 23-Jun-2014
Pros: NOTHING WE DID NOT STAY HERE
Cons: REMOVE IT FROM THE EXPEDIA LIST UNTIL THE HOTEL HAS BEEN RENOVATED AND UPDATED
Location: I WENT TO VISIT FAMILY
WE (8 ADULTS) DID NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. THIS WAS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE SEEN OR HAD RESERVATION TO IN MY 30 PLUS YEARS OF TRAVELING. When we arrived at the hotel I said to my husband what is this, it looks nothing like the internet pictures. I ask the desk clerk if we could get a key to check out the room before checking in and she gave me a key to check out the room. You had to enter the room from the outside which wasn't good for safety. The lights on the outside were out, the only way to get to the 2nd floor was the outside steps. After I/we checked out the room we return to the desk clerk I told her I'm sorry but it's no way my family and I could stay at a hotel like this, it's not safe, the beds are a FOAM PAD the lights outside were out it was a MESS. WE LEFT AND FOUND ACCOMMODATIONS AT ANOTHER HOTEL.

Overall I am satisfied with the hotel, other than the bathroom smelled like pee, and the carpet had a stains from what I think is a dog.

I reserved three rooms and one of them had a bad odor when I entered the room and air freshner was sprayed but smell still remain. That was a uncomfortable stay for my mother in that room.

Best Western

Posted 14-May-2014
Pros: convience
Cons: everything
Location: just near Stone Mountain Park
When u pay nearly $100.00 to sleep u expect to sleep good. When u are told u get a buffet breakfast u don't expect a continential breakfast. When u see pool u expect to be able to swim. I will tell everyone not to waste there money there.
