“Great hotel for the price”

My boyfriend and I stayed at this Best Western because of its location. We had planned a two day "vacation" that included a trip to the Aquarium, the zoo, Fern Bank, etc. The room was nice and very clean. Everything was very modern looking. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very good with hot coffee, cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles and plenty more to choose from. The front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the Marta train station was right up the road. I didn't like that we had to pay $15.00 a night for their parking garage. I felt that this should have been included in the hotel's nightly fee, but I would still go back. Overall, for the price this hotel was very nice, clean and in a great location to explore downtown Atlanta.

“comfy beds”

Everyone was nice and helpful....beds and pillows were very comfy. Only complaint is the neighborhood and didn't like room location which was first floor. Recommend asking for second or above. The first floor was pretty much on the street.overall very nice stay.

“Exceeded our expectations”

Seems as if this is an older property that's been recently updated. The room was spotless, modern and very comfortable. Nice breakfast, cheaper parking than a lot of other downtown/midtown hotels and the staff were lovely. I would definitely stay here again if I ever returned to Atlanta, which says it all, really.

Area recommendations

Poncey-Highlands is a nice eclectic neighbourhood with cool shops and cafes/restaurants, only about 5-10 minutes drive from downtown Atlanta.

“Mixed review”

The first room we were assigned clearly had not been cleaned since last occupied. Beds hadn't been slept in, but the toilet was dirty, soap bars had been used and there was a razor in the shower. The second room we were assigned was worse. Beds had not been slept in, but clearly had been lounged on, and there were empty take-out food boxes on the counter tops. The staff were extremely apologetic and helpful and assigned us to a third room which was very comfortable and clean. So my review is mixed. They have to get better coordination between their cleaning staff and front desk. Breakfast was great.

“the pictures are deceiving cheap hotel”

The hotel was very old and they tried to make it look new with paint and linens. You had to walk outside corridors to get to your room not even enclosed. The parking was underground in a cage. I never have been locked in a parking garage before. We were awaken by screaming and yelling people fighting all night long no rest. It was like staying at a hotel on the side of the highway that rents by the hour. I WILL NEVER STAY AT A BEST WESTERN AGIAN.

“Small double roosm (beware)”

Everything neat and tidy, but the rooms are way to small for more than two people. If u do decide to stay, PACK LITE!
