Been going for 3 years in a row because even though the hotel is in need of refurbishment (i.e. don't expect a 5-star glittery hotel), it ticks every other box: Great location (walking distance from all the cool places to go out in Kolonaki), spacious rooms, good view (if you upgrade from the standard room), excellent service and great prices. Overall the best value for money in the area.

Pros: personnel très serviable
Cons: l'hotel date un peu
Location: le quartier est charmant
La vue est magnifique , le quartier est " chic" , belles boutiques de luxe , des cafés accueillants . Restaurants tous genres et tous budgets a proximité . Promenade et musées a 15 m a pied

sto ikke helt til forventningene

Hotellet var ok, men følte ikke at det var helt innafor et fem-stjerners hotell. Badet var gammelt og føltes ikke helt rent.

Hotellet ligger fantastiskt trevligt men behöver en ordentlig renovering och uppfräschning. Jag skulle inte rekommendera det i sitt nuvarande skick.

Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées,et la première chambre il n'y avait même pas de cloison fermée jusqu'au plafond à tel point que nous nous serions crus dans la chambre du voisin quand nous avons éteint la lumière nous avons profité de la lumière de la chambre d'à côté. Le spa est bien mais il fait froid ce qui est dommage. Le restaurant est bien et la vue magnifique. En conclusion cet hotel n'est pas un cinq étoiles !!

Not five star

This hotel is not five star the room was cramped and the garden view is a concrete vista.Trees outside the room brushed against the windows of both our rooms all night which was rather noisey.

Wonderful views and great experience.

Pros: Clean rooms, helpful staff, the view and the location.
We loved the location as it had great views and was out of the hustle-n-bustle area of Athens. The metro was easy walking and the neighborhood was very safe. Good shopping was a short walk and good restaurants were very close.

a stay of two halves

Pros: the view from the balcony and bar. friendly & helpful staff
Cons: see review dont try to charge €22 for a breakfast per person. There is a bakery and crepe shop 5 min away for a 5th of the price.
Location: see review
Our first room was not great. we paid extra to be upgraded to a "superior" room with a balcony and we were very disappointed with what we found. In our first room the decor was old, the shower was limescaled, the bed was a twin (two singles and 2 duvet pushed together) not a king/superking and the view from the balcony was of a building site. We requested a room change. However the hotel was fully booked, meaning we spent half our trip in this room. Once we changed, the new room was much improved. We had a brilliant view of the acropolis from our balcony, and a proper super-king bed with improved decor condition. In summary, if you could ensure a room as our second one, we would recommend this hotel. However we wouldn't recommend our first room. The hotel is up a steep hill, about 15 min walk from the nearest metro. If you dont care about having a good view from your hotel, book one closer to the center. You can always get the funicular to the top of lycabettus hill for the same view.

The hotel features a range of room types priced according to view and extras. These are explained in detail on our website. All rooms are checked for maintenance and hygiene on a continuous basis. The hotel is easily accessed by taxi for just a few euros from the metro station.
