“Very good value for the money”

The staff were friendly, the lobby and dining areas were extremely clean and pleasant as was the room. The fact that you had an option as to whether to buy or skip breakfast was a plus for someone like me for whom breakfast is just a cup of coffee. The only thing that was so so was the room hallways but the room more than made up for that. I definitely recommend this to anyone especailly to those who want to escape the hectic pace of Athens. The tram from down town Athens is only a couple of streets away

“a quiet place to stay”

The Sea View is just far enough off the main road that you dont hear much traffic, and is with in walking distance of several shops, restraunts and a train stop, The beaches in the area are more gravel than sand but still nice to go to.

“Nice hotel”

nice place to stay and a nice area. the metro is just 2 blocks away and can get you into downtown athens. its a 40 min ride into athens but its a nice way to see the city. many great choices for eating and shopping in this area of Glyfada. From the airport take the 96 bus and get off at the first exit for Glyfada. No need to rent a car

Getting around
Dont rent a car. From this area its easy enough to get around. You can even get here from the airport very easily, just take the 96 bus and ask the driver for the first stop in Glyfada. from the hotel take the Metro anywhere.

“Sea View Hotel Athene”

1 week verbleven wij in het Sea View Hotel, we waren met drie personen. De kamer was netjes en schoon. De bedden sliepen heerlijk een we hadden een balkon. Het ontbijt was goed er was voldoende te krijgen en alles was vers. De prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding is zeer goed het is een echte aanrader. De buurt is ook netjes en de tram stop bijna voor de deur en binnen 50 min ben in hartje Athene.

Voor de drukte en warmte zou ik zelf niet in juli of augustus gaan.
Getting around
De tram is goed te doen duidelijke borden en voor 20 euro kan je de hele week reizen

“trop proche d'une route 8 voies”

impossible de passer une nuit tranquille du fait du bruit infernal de la route qui se trouve a proximité auquel s'ajoute la musique de la boite de nuit en face. le personnel ne parle pas français et l'accueil laisse aussi a désirer.
