“Just what we wanted”
We had a great stay at the Marina. It was so close to Ominia Station and we could get anywhere from there and also a handy walk to many attractions. The reception was welcoming and extremely helpful. The neighbourhood was quite rough but it was a neat, quiet little place to retreat and priced so reasonably. We stayed four nights and would recommend it . the breakfast was nice and the internet connection reliable. It was just what we wanted.... safe, helpful, conmfotable and affordable.
“Good hotel bad area”
Very nice hotel inside looks freshly renovated Counter guy was very helpful Breakfast was good though lacking range Elevator is fairly cosy only downside is the neighbourhood its in seems very slum like alot of immigrants hanging around and smells abit bad on the street noone bothered us but i wouldnt recomend going out at night or during any possible protesting
“I will never go back”
I don't recommend this hotel, the surrondings are extremelly dangerous for tourist to be around and the service of the hotel is very poor.
“Excellent value at the price”
Good quality tourist hotel. Room was clean and quiet. Furnishings a little jaded, but in Athens you are going to be spending most of your time out sightseeing. Only a few minutes walk from Omonia Square Metro. OK quality cold buffet breakfast. Excellent value. Only down side is the slightly seedy area.
“Liked the hotel, but not the location”
As a first-time traveler to Athens on my own and on a tight budget, the tourist hotels in Omonia appealed to me for their price. However, once in Athens, I realized why the Omonia district is not recommended to solo travelers. The hotel's concierge was **marvelous**; the hotel itself was not fancy, but was clean, comfortable, and secure. Sadly, compared to other areas of Athens, the immediate neighborhood around Omonia is not as conducive to walking around safely alone at night. The concierge offered to order taxis for me if I wanted to go out later, but I didn't take him up on it, given the price of after-hour taxis in Athens.
“Too Dangerous To Enjoy”
Well, I was very disappointed to find that the "breakfast buffet" was nothing more than a very small continental breakfast. Then, I learned that Wi-Fi had a charge. The way it is written, it appears that use of their internet had the charge and that Wi-Fi was free. The wording is tricky. As well, it was difficult to get decent service at the reception desk. There was only one person that was friendly and helpful. How sad. My trip was pretty much a failure because the dangerous neighborhood in which the hotel is located.
“Just like home!”
It's my second stay at that hotel and I would not change it since its location is extremely convenient and the staff very helpfull. They've even remembered me and seemed very happy I was back. My room was again spacious and clean and the breackfast rich as always. What else would somebody want? Unfortunatelly I stayed only one night but they are more nights to come...
“if there is some thing less than one to rate it, definitely i will put -100”
no need
“Friendly and helpfull staff-Great value for money”
Great hotel, very clean and safe and very friendly staff.I often travel to Athens and for sure I m staying there cause the atmosphere is like...being home.
“Good hotel, location not good”
Hotel itself was quite good, but location in back alley quite offputting. Location to shopping and hop-on-off bus to get to other attractions ok.
