“Comfortable”

Clean & comfortable, look newer than others that we have seen in the area. The staff was eager to insure our satisfaction. Breakfast was okay, about average.

“Exellent Experience”

We would definitely stay here again if we are in Athens for any reason. The hotel was clean, the staff was extremely courteous and friendly, the room was clean, there were plenty of towels. Our children enjoyed the pool, while we enjoyed the hot tub. The full breakfast was very good with plenty of items to choose from and the wonderful lady in charge of the breakfast area (I can't remember her name so I'll call her Ms. Z. because her name started wtih a Z and was very unusual) even cooked bacon for us simply because we commented that we preferred bacon to sausage. All in all, a very good experience for the whole family.

“Pleasant Surprise”

Finding the hotel was a little tricky, but once I got inside I was impressed with the entire inside. The lobby was neat and clean, and Zack (the desk clerk) was very friendly and helpful. The atrium was beautiful and spacious with plenty of seating and a large TV. Plus there was a small nook for those seeking a little privacy with their books, etc. The breakfast area was nicely maintained. My studio king room was large and fairly well-cleaned, although the loveseat in the seating area was somewhat stained. The bed was comfortable, a very important factor in repeat visits! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice and reasonably-priced place to stay in the Athens area.

“Fantastic Hotel and great value”

This hotel was amazing and great value - I would say this equivalent to a good hotel butonly paying motel prices. The hotel was clean, comfortable and a good Gym and indoor pool. Coffee tea and cookies always available and the staff were really helpful - especially Ed the new manager. We travelled from UK on a two week holiday to the states and this was by far the best hotel we stayed in.

“Southern hospitality was excellent!”

Everyone at the Carlson Inn & Suites in Athens, GA was terrific! This must be where they got the idea for southern hospitality.

“Affordable quality”

Nice breakfast options. Only deficiency was that there is a single elevator. This was not a problem for us as the hotel was not full, but I can imagine it could be an inconvenience at busier times.
