“Will stay here again!!”

Great customer service--Carla was awesome to deal with when making reservations. We went to Athens for the MSU/GA football game and enjoyed staying here--the rooms are a good value for regular night rates!

“Older Hotel, but clean”

I was suprised when I arrived and it was one of those hotels that you enter your room from the parking lot. It was clean and the staff was good. Average breakfast with a very nice girl who makes the waffels for you.

“Never Going Back!”

I was extremely dissapointed with the fact we paid extra for the upgraded whirlpool suite and the tub did not work and they refused to give me a credit for the difference of a regular room for the 2 night stay. I will not go back!!!!

“An OK place at a reasonable price”

I have stayed at this hotel twice while in Athens. It often has very competitive room rates. The rooms are reasonably attractive, well kept, and comfortable. Its easy to find, and they do include a continental breakfast which is better than some. Only complaint about room is the shower was very slow to drain on the 2 occasions I have stayed there.Both times I have stayed there I checked in to discover they had booked large groups of noisy guests. The first time was for a dog show and the place was full of dogs. The most recent time, we were warned that they had booked 10 rooms to a band who was playing in town and they were probably going to be rowdy and we should just try to be understanding. If the hotel is going to book groups they know could be disruptive to other guests, they should really make a better effort to prevent that. Luckily, the group wasn't disruptive. It did not seem as though management planned to do anything if they had been. Other than that, the hotel is not too far from downtown restaurants and clubs and an ok place for a night or two.

Best Western Colonial Inn is a great hotel for the money. Close to UGA and downtown Athens. Well maintained - feels safe.
